EADD What Are You Munching On? v. Godlike steaks & shitting candles.

BBQ chicken wings, honeydew melon, and pineapple. Not all on the same plate, mind. It's just there's this big hamper of fruit and I've never dealt with a pineapple before, so I didn't know if it was ripe or going off. Tis' a wee bit overly bitter but not unpleasant.

I feel like I have spent the day cooking !

Made beetroot salad and a Chicken fajita style dish for lunch - tonight I have made onion soup and a focaccia bread (as you do).

I have made a veggie curry - sweet potato, peppers, mushrooms and chickpeas and have the tri wild red, black rice done to be heat up when appetites require. Got some nice sides for it too if necessary.

You had me at curry :)

I'd probably go for a neck on neck competion on curry with you Mr Bear! I love it so much. Times in Nepal and India taught me much ;)

You should see my spice cupboard, and freezer stores where I keep my curry leaves, coriander and other spice all year round. Bless the Scottish curry %)

Rollmops, pretzels and a steak bake, washed down with some 'nobleman' British wine (£3, lidl), which is befitting of such an aristocratic spread.

My curries are far from fancy :D - I was gifted a couple boxes of really ripe tomatoes the other week so made a couple batches of basic curry sauce and a couple of batches of tomato and garlic sauce. I see your a curry leaf lover also :)

Ock, I'd never be able to win you at a curry completion Mr Bear, your's are sublime.

Yes I buy my curry leaves in a big bag fresh and freeze them. They just add that extra special savouryness to the dish. I even sometimes leave in whole cardamons to stew down. Then I have to remember to tell the man not to eat em' :D

Gonna attempt a bowl of cereal soon.
This 'Kate Moss/Stimfreak diet' is starting to take its toll...

Pleased to hear it Sprout - the milk if anything will do you good. Try soft scrambled eggs too.

There great mixed into Bhajis :) - I really enjoy the taste of them so normally uses them at the start when 'Im frying my whole spices. Theres nothing worse than biting down on a cardamon though, so strong I try and dig them out before serving. The other savories I use are bay leaves and cinnamon (I use the bark instead of the sticks) only need a small piece or it can overpower the food.

Made a curry with fenugreek leaves the other day, having only used the seeds before. It's gorgeous stuff. It was a bit like a spinach curry, but with pungent, savoury undertones.
