Drugs and delayed male orgasm

I have searched the web but haven't gotten a very definitive/scientific answer. I like to mix substances and sex, who doesn't right? Now in general, I tend to take a long time to orgasm from stimulation from a woman. This probably stems from being to used to the consistent and strong sensation of jackin' it so much. I've noticed certain drugs, particularly mdma, mda, 6apb type, while enhancing the tactile sensation make it near impossible to orgasm for me, although not for the girl.

Does anyone know the scientific reason for this delayed male orgasm from certain drugs? Erection issues aside (or solved by viagra type drug), there has to be a physiological reason for this. On a fairly strong roll once, after hours of sex, even minutes of furious jacking which would otherwise easily do the job did not get close to building towards finishing. I'd take a guess that it has something to do with serotonin, but I have read accounts of similar effects happening with opiates, other amphetamines, alcohol, etc. I'd like to know the reason so as to better choose which substances I could take to enhance sex yet not interfere with the male orgasm mechanism.

Many drugs, especially amphetamines, activate the sympathetic nervous system (SNS). When you do vigorous exercise or have adrenaline release, the SNS is activate. Its opposite is the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS), which governs erections and orgasms. The two systems cannot be on simultaneously because one represents action and one represents rest. For example, digestion is a PNS function, which is why some people vomit if they eat a lot and then try to exercise. Exercise activates the SNS and the skeletal muscle, diverting resource away from digestion.

Similarly, sexual functions are related to the PNS. Although it may seem like sex is an "action" state, you won't be able to maintain an erection if you're on the move and aren't relaxed.

Amphetamines activate the SNS and deactivate the PNS, even if you're sitting still. Faster heart rate, increased body temperature, increased neural activity = SNS.

Viagra, in a nutshell, increases the ability of nitric oxide to increase blood to the penis, causing an erection. It does it biochemically without affecting the nervous system. You'll be able to get hard but it does nothing to activate the PNS, so having an orgasm will be very difficult.
