Dropping Classes...

I'm a 2nd semester sophomore in college and so far have dropped 2 classes throughout my college education so far..

last semester I made the mistake of dropping an Earth Science w/lab class(science requirement).. I was depressed and really just wasn't into the class (the fact it was at 8am didn't make it any better), I regret it because it wasn't that difficult.. it was just more of me not being motivated to do the work.

anyway, this semester I decided to sign up for Biological Anthropology-- I took an Anthropology class last semester and really enjoyed it, and by reading the description of the class I thought it'd be more of an Anthropology class with bits of Biology mixed in.. anyway it turns out this is basically a full blown Biology class and i'm feeling in way over my head.. on top of that the TA for the lab is this dumbass bitch who has a mediocre knowledge at best of the topic at hand, and continously assigns us lab assignments that she doesn't go over in class, and is a stickler when grading them as well..

so a couple weeks in this course is turning out to be a big deboacle. and unfortunately i'm starting to consider I might have to withdrawal from this class if it continues down the path it's on..

my question is does it look really bad on college transcripts to see a bunch of W's on there for withdrawal?? or is it not that big of a deal?? obviously it'd be better than failing the course right??

this would be my 3rd class i've withdrawn from in about 4 semesters.. so that's really what I wanna know. If this is fucking over my transcript-- despite the fact my GPA is fairly high.

obviously, the money thing sucks too, it makes me feel guilty because my parents are paying for my education.. but because I might be transferring this January and end up commutting that will save them money, so in the long run it's not that detrimental from a financial standpoint..

a withdrawal looks better on a transcript than a failure. if you're not doing well in a course and can't see how you can improve in that particular course (and it's completely not your fault- some courses/professors are just not for some people) then you should probably drop it. stressing out over this course may jeopardize your success in other courses. but try not to drop anymore courses. 2 withdrawals throughout an entire college carreer shouldn't look that bad, in my opinion, especially if your gpa is still decent when you're done.

I have a W for physics 1 and biophysical chem (both which i took again and did ok). I couldnt handle physics in my university at the time, shitty mindstate, same with the chem class. I guess just have a valid reason ready THAT DOESNT SOUND LIKE AN EXCUSE incase an interviewer questions you about it.
