Dosing With Etizolam Powder Advice

My friend is wondering if there is anything wrong with weighing a 1mg dose of etizolam on a milligram scale? Everyone seems to be recommending dissolving the stuff in pg but my friend was wondering if there is anything wrong with this approach (perhaps with a magnifying glass too). Tips appreciated.

most milligram scales cannot accurately weigh out 1mg, it will be 1mg +/- 5mg.

use volumetric measurement, or a 0.1mg scale
