Dosage levels for dexamphetamine/dexies/dexiprine?

ok i'm got some 5mg dexamphetamine tablets, and i'm wondering about what kinda dosages ppl are taking. i'm not going to be using them recreationally(ok maybe a little), more using them for helping study. but i was wondering if anyone out there has taken them and how many mg/pills do you generally take. also how do u take them, plugging?

if you've taken dexies or ritalin as a prescription i'd be particularly interested in hearing your story.
the tablets have a score with a D on the top half and a 5 on the bottom
very hard, and a nice sugary coat on the outside.
how did i get them?
i've been mugging jitterry looking 14yo's at my highschool and bus stops.
 
Yeah have had the dexies with D 5 on them (5mg). If ya want them for studying I found one is enough for a good couple of hours or so. Any more made my concentration span a bit shorter.
As for recreationally, 4 or 5 recommended, though even a couple are good for staying awake having a few cones! I have known of people taking 10-15 tho I wouldn't advise this.

Yes whan I had a nice little supply of these, I found 4 or 5 followed by a top up of 2 a few hours later did the trick, much better than any of the speed I've brought in the past 5 years.
*sigh* looks like I'll have to find another friend with ADD or narcolepsy!
 
I love dexies
I find that they just enhance my concentration and creativity. If I need to study or work I only take 3 or 4 but if I'm going raving I take around 5 coz they keep me awake and make your pills last longer.
Ritalin is entirely different. I personally don't like them, they give you more energy but make you feel dumb

I can take 2 and study really well, but if I take 3 I get very easily distracted and usually end up yapping to the person next to me instead of studying.
When I take dexxies, I get something I call "dexylexysia" which makes me write letters the wrong way round (like "eh" instead of "he")...weird shit!
I think I may be hypersensitive to them (I am with most drugs) because I once took 4 (x 5mg) over a space of about 4 hours, and I couldn't sleep until about 18 hours later

I asked a pharmacist I know what the normal dosage for kids with ADD is, and she said it can be as little as half a pill, up to about 7! how the hell do these kids sleep?

i ended up hoovering about 5 1/2 of these things today.
i had 4 in the morning before i got out of the house...man they're addictive, i kept going back for a little bit more. it was good for hitting the books though. things would still only hold my attention for five mins or so, but thats no big change from reality.
strange thing was that the speedy effects increased when i went to uni, i felt the need to stop everyone i remotely knew for a chat.
they are so easy on your nostrils, none of that yucky "ewww the speed is melting my nostrils and my mouth is wierd" feeling.
 
my brother takes em, which means he "loses" maybe 15 out of a prescription

. I give em away mostly to my gf coz she has no money, she generally takes 4 pills when we go out. I occassionally use 2 or 3 for working after a big one, stops yawning, don't take too many though or u get all shaky. I have taken like 5 and gone out but i find that just taking a drug to stay awake is stupid, the whole purpose of recreational drugs is to feel "good" isn't it? whatever shakes your tailfeather i guess

Personally i think they're a dodgy drug, i mean you're taking a kids prescription to get off, not that i can talk....
And as far as dexxies being better than wizz, well, if you say so, must be gettin some pretty shitty speed but

I have snorted dexies occaisionally, usually in doses of 10, maybe I have a high tolerance but even with 15 pill doses the 'rush' wasn't all that great.
I would recommened about 7, depending on how your body reacts to *those* paticular compounds.
People I have known that used dexies a lot have become addicted (well so they say) and depressed, and the comedown can be quite nasty.

ok if ur whizz is amphetamine (its prob amphetamine + pseudo + crap) and not meth then dexies ARE whizz.
Dextroamphetamine is PURE ACTIVE amphetamine, or speed.
However 5mg is a tiny amount.
To the people that are snorting lots, well be careful, the pill is 2% good stuff, 98% chalk; thats a lot of shit going up ur nose for no good reason.
If u r getting 10% (1:9 cut) whizz then 2 dexies is a point. So a half gram of shitty speed is about 10 dexies. Now trust me, 10 at once and u will be rushing.
good 50% (1:1) whizz, well a point would be 10 dexies too.
Note amphetamine can exist as 2 types, d or l.
d is the ACTIVE type, l does NOTHING.
Hence illegally produced speed could be a d and l mixture, hence only half the amount is having any effect.
DEXTRO or d amphetamine (dexies) is a pure form of the d type and hence ALL of it is active.
Thus what i am saying is if ur not getting meth, dexies is the purest form of whizz out there, u just need to know how much it takes for u, which is obviously easy to work out, unlike GUESSING the purity of street speed.
Although if u like to snort then dexies are not as suitable.

I snorted/ate them for a while, and never got a come down! I didn't really get a rush, but that wasn't the point, it was just nice, subtle speedy feeling and before you know it, you have been awake for 24 hours.
Not anymore, if only I was related to someone with ADD.

i mean u get some shitty speed, snort a line, i am sorry but if ur rushing its the placebo created by the act of snorting.
I think the "rush" of speed has a lot to do with the snorting aspect, coz of its quickness etc.
u cannot snort 10 dexies, or would be stupid too. But swallow them all at once (note i have never had more than 5 at once, and that does me nicely, 1/2 point of top quality whizz), give it 45mins, trust me, big time speed effect. Maybe u don't get the "rush" but thats coz of the snorting factor.
The other bonus is they r great for keeping u at the level, pop extra one each hour or something; no wonder my friends nickname them lollies.
But do be careful with addiction, it is just speed, covered in a veil of low dosages and pharmaceutical "safety". Dependence could develop extremely easily, esp for their use in work/study.

or is 50mg of D-amphetamine be equiv to 1pt of street speed because of the 50mg of the inactive enantomer(sp?)

20 dexies is equiv to about a 3/4 weight i reckons, maybe a bit more

I mean c'mooon, if i could get off on a point of go-ey I'd be happier than a pig in mud (heehee..I wonder what that feels like anyway?) and there's no way I'd bother going for the dexies, BUT the speed over here is crap and it's not rare for someone to snort a whole gram in a night..although I'd say my limit is about a 1/2 weight. That is, 5 times the amount of your speed I would have to snort. and who knows what this speed is cut with???
I'm down on Sydney speed atm.. dexies.. I say bring 'em on! I have a good friend who has ADD...time to enlist his help... unless of course I can have an endless supply of Perth wizz..mmm...that'd prolly suit me better.

I remember paying 50c each, but that was before they started being used frequently by clubbers. I think people sell them for a dollar or two each here..... or $50ea to american sailors

Well lemme just say... I'm just going by what others have said..
I've never had dexies. *nod* I'm just pissed off with this batch of go-ey I got... maybe I'm building tolerance? Can you get tolerance? I mean, the batch before this was really good... maybe it's because I've been sitting at home using it to study-not taking great amounts etc... hmm.. I'm going to have to research.
I want to get more phentermine actually... now THOSE I can vouch for, purely for going the distance though, not for rush or anything.

20 dexies (100mg) is = to a point of PURE AMPHETAMINE.
i don't think any of us r getting pure amphetamine when u get speed. i mean u can get speed cut down to as low as 5%, prob at street level 10% is common, hence a point is 2 dexies.
If u get the best available speed ur prob getting 1:1, which means a point is 10 dexies. The overdose of pure amphetamine is prob around 150mg. So u can see when u r pushing around 20+ dexies ur on ur way.
As for the d enantiomer stuff it depends on how it is made, but most likely amphetamine is a mix.
For some reason people think coz its prescribed to ADD kids, "pseudo legal etc" it isn't the same as speed.
IT IS, if ur speed is amphetamine. This is not an issue, it is fact.
The only thing this form of speed has different to dexies is less filler, so i guess u can say its more "concentrated" and prob the prescence of other chemicals, cut with pseudoephedrine etc. Pseudo in a high dose can give one hell of a BODY rush. Combine that with the brain rush of the speed and it seems a far more "rushing" entity.
However as i said if when you get speed you are getting methylamphetamine (meth) then there is a major difference. Meth obviously kicks ass over ordinary amphetamine (dexies) and i think it is more common than people believe.
U r always hearing about labs getting busted for making methylamphetamine from pseudoephedrine, many in aust. It is so common and very easy to do. (this produces pure d meth btw, all of it active, as the pseudo is d too, d-pseduo --> d-meth)
Hence at least in australia, it is my opinion that more meth is produced than amphetamine. And i think a lot of times when u go, omg this speed is fantastic, there is a huge chance its meth, tens times better than "speed" and dexies.
