Does weed go bad?

store it in a freezer or a glass jar hidden in a closet or something. I'm actually considering saving up a gram or so from every pick up also, and I will probably throw the bud in a jar and leave it in my closet for like 3-4 months.

One major component is light. Keeping it in the dark should help.
