Another thing i was wondering...I once heard that when you do some codeine and then do some other opiate within 24 hours it kinda blocks out the full effects. Is there any truth to that? Thanks.

Varies and depends on which other opiates your reffering 2.But i,ve never herd of blocking the effects should,nt be a problem. But be safe and get use to codeine first dont leap baby steps when dabbling in opiates for your own saftey!!!!

I don't understand the wikipedia link there, what's the connection wit the thread?

Anyway, I have found tramadol does not raise tolerance much with respect to other agonists. Another thing I've found that tolerance to regular opioids can be somewhat higher than the "baseline", but still the tolerance to tramadol is low. In my experience, tramadol vs. other opioids are quite different kind of drugs with not so much of a cross tolerance as one would expect. Codeine does not block anything, it just adds to the high.

Well it's all relative and depends on how much tramadol you take and how often you take it. It can raise your tolerance to other opioids. How "much" entirely depends on how much tramadol you use and what other opioids you compare it to.

As for "blocking" effects, what happens is that if you take an opioid and then take another opioid before the other has fully worn off it can lessen the effects of the second opioid. This also depends on what opioid it is, how much you take and how close you take them together. If you take codeine and then take another opioid 24 hrs later I really doubt it would lessen the effects of the second opioid.
