Does methamphetamine or Rx amphetamines increase serotonin and/or is it an SSRI?

Methylphenidate (Ritalin) is a phenethylamine but not an amphetamine. Adderall is a 3:1 mix of Dextro and levoamphetamine. Methylphenidate is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor and amphetamine is a reuptake inhibitor/releaser. They both achieve the end result of more dopamine in the brain but with a slightly different mechanism. What is Ritalin if it isn't amphetamines? And what is Adderall? I thought they were all amphetamines.
Ritalin is a unique class of drug, but it most closely resembles cocaine or cathinones (bath salts) in effect, it releases dopamine at a relatively slower rate and is less drastic in effect.Thank you very much. Thanks so much, you're brilliant and the best!Methylphenidate (Ritalin) is a phenethylamine but not an amphetamine. Adderall is a 3:1 mix of Dextro and levoamphetamine. Adderall is amphetamine, it's literally in the name, it's a combo of L/D amphetamine HCL (sub-racemic.... true racemic amphetamine would be street paste in EU). Ritalin is methylphenidate, and is not chemically structured like an amphetamine.
Many chemicals can have similar stimulatory effects, but are also drastically different on a chemical level. Amphetamines are probably the most common stimulant of the last 50 years, but they sure as hell aren't the only one or the standard.
I apologize for asking so many questions but how does Adderall affect serotonin levels then?Methylphenidate (Ritalin) is a phenethylamine but not an amphetamine. Barely if at all.I apologize for asking so many questions but how does Adderall affect serotonin levels then?
No.Thanks so much, you're brilliant and the best!
Oh, do either of those affect microdosing psilocybin?
Thanks so much, you're unbelievably helpful!Methamphetamine does increase serotonin, much more than amphetamine, but they do both interact with SERT, the serotonin transporter and likely cause serotonin efflux through the transporter
if you are literally trying to substitute lesser stimulants for meth, then I would indeed stick to amphetamine based drugsI'm researching everything to deal with lifelong trauma and get off meth, thanks so much.
Can you please tell me if I can was xylazine out of meth with a good acetone washing? Or if there's any way to get xylazine out of meth?Barely if at all.
No.
Can you please tell me other things that have a strong stimulatory effect? Maybe, anything that doesn't have xylazine in it?Ritalin is a unique class of drug, but it most closely resembles cocaine or cathinones (bath salts) in effect, it releases dopamine at a relatively slower rate and is less drastic in effect.

If you want to get the job done in style may I suggest some 3,4-Dichloroamphetamine.![]()
