1)how does your mind feel on this(dxm)??

3)wich illegal substance does it most resemble ,in affects that is??

3. As for comparisons I wouldn't even consider it a drug. The only mind fuck i got was that rush one gets from yakking in a toilet. Nasty stuff in my opinion. I'd rather smoke bong resin.

Pure DXM powder is quite interesting... You dont really get the mind fuck like u do with acid.. your just slowed down, every thought is about 10 seconds behind your body...

A: Sort of like K, but not nearly as clean or good. Sort of like codiene, but not very euphoric, sort of like...well it is it's own thing. Oops, those are both legal. I guess it isn't like any illegal drugs ( that I can think of).

Yes, and yes... it can provide a definate mind fuck depending on the dosage you take. And contrary to what someone said earlier yes sometimes it can provide extreme euphoria. It's definately one of those drugs that most people will either really like... or really not like.

Yeah I guess it just must be a personal thing on whether you like it or not. In my opinion, I would rather have 8 oz of cough syrup with 3 grams of weed than heroin or LSD or coke or anything for that matter.

Drink a 4 oz. bottle of robitussin max strength cough syrup. I compare that mostly to being drunk and stoned at the same time. Basicly real fucked up. the 4 oz bottle with just fuck you up. No 3rd/4th world pleatu visits. No amazing religious experiences, just fucked up. (this is in my case, you might be a little different.)
Start with a 4 oz. bottle see if you like it. I really don't like dxm past the second pleateau because im usually too sick to enjoy the high of dxm.

I ate a capsule of the pure powder and made me feel like I was dying...literally... kindof like a near death experience. I also felt like I was 2 feet tall when I stood up and I didn't stand up much cuz I was so sick. I also had double vision and didn't feel normal for like 2 days. I don't recommend it.

for me it most resembles K... so it does not even compare to lsd..
I get the same effects as K, sometimes a little sick (though only at first), and my body ecspecially my head feel heavier than on K... but the effects last longer so it's all good...
it's always a good drug to do every so often.. u gotta mix it up and get a variety...

Of course I was puffing before the sickness, that is a given. *Dr.Bombay smokes pot from LA to Norway, nah mean?* I had pure dxm powder so thats maybe the reason. Fuck drinking syrup. Over LSD?! Hardly, syrup makes me feel even worse than dxm by itself. I dont drink the shit for a cold let alone a high. Now if this syrup has say, codeine or hydrocodone in it well now thats a different thread all together...

I'm with el es dee on this one. DXM can really be awesome, especially if:
1) You smoke pot with it
2) You know what you're looking for
Unfortunately it took me a few lame, sick, and or scary trips to find the real beauty of Dex. I don't think it gives the same sort of mind fuck as with lsd, but I always feel like I'm in another sort of world. I don't feel confused like I do on acid; things make sense, but in a different way. I also get very strange mental sensations. . . I wish I had better words to describe it. I go through a cycle of feelings. Like, I'll feel the sort of satisfaction that you feel when you finally figure out a really tough puzzle or homework problem, yet I haven't solved anything. And I get the total feeling of deja vu for no good reason. And I get the sensation of being surprised even when nothing is going on. I also get contrasting feelings at the same time (I wish I could explain it, but you gotta experience it to know what I'm talking about). I always recognize this contrasting effect as the trademark of Dex, and then I get sent into total deja-vu.
And it can be very euphoric as well, but this generally just comes when I've either used pot or nitrous. I'll agree that it is better than LSD, but I feel like it's rather harsh on the body, so I avoid doing it more than once per month.

i tried some dxm last night...it was the robo cough syrup

..the sickest shit i have ever tried....i agree with Puffbunnyx...i drank a little more than half the bottle of the syrup (mixed with a sprite drink) fuck that.....that shit was too sick to just drink...i felt like i was just fucking stoned and drunk as shit at the same time...i smoked about a little more than a joint and a half. it was weird at certain times i felt real good....like i wasent stoned or drunk...like i was in my own world...then the drunk feeling would come back...i did throw up but i am planning to try dxm again....for the simple fact that i believe there is a more 3rd/4rd pleatu..but i dont think the cough syrup does that..i have some pills that have 30mg of dxm in them and i heard that you can take these and get more of a dxm experience...i heard you shouldnt take no more than 8.....thats still a lot of pills but if anyone has any input on the pills leave a reply because i am curious and want to find out...any feedback is appreciated

I agree with almost everything you said tad up to "I'll agree that it is better than LSD"
I have taken 500mg of pure DXM powder on two occasions and i have had very positive and entertaining experiences with both..
I didn't really experience much of a mindfuck, like acid per say...but time was most definately slowed down.
The most significant part of the "trip" was being extremely physically disassociated and being unable to coordinate my mental actions to my physical ones. I was in comfortable and safe environments both times, so i wasn't freaked out or anything..i was just happy to be chillin' with my friends

The only negative part about dxm is throwing up..yuck.

yes el es dee is correct, after you start trippin on dxm just smoke a bowl.. it doesnt take much at all, after the first puff, your trip skyrockets. dxm is very enjoyable, but it is not a social drug in higher doses, if your going to do it, have a play to stay. i have had several 650-750mg trips, and they were soem of the best times in my life, intense hallucinations, you think like never before, and i suggest laying in a dark room.

ecstasy_user: The cough syrup can get you just as fucked up as the pills. The pills you have are probably Coricidin which contain an antihistamine with nasty side effects when overdosed. 8 pills * 30 mg = only 240mg anyway. You're going to want more than that to hit a third/fourth plateau dose.
DXM gives a mindfuck more like K.

No one listen to Candy Kid, his opinions are skewed and jaded because he had some horrible experience with this drug. Please provide some information to backup your claims that doing it once will change someone forever. 500 milligrams is a fairly high dose for a DXM newbie. Smarten up and learn your shit before broadcasting your opinions to people on this board. Erowid.com is a good starting place for anybody who is interested in learnign more about drugs before you take them. Thats the smart way to do it. So before you get high, just do yourself a favor and find some information on the drug. You'd be surprised how interesting the information is and how much more enjoyable the experience can be when you go into educated and prepared.
To answer the original question.
1) Fucked up, unable to complete a sentence, fried. I prefer to take DXM alone, as it makes me look like a raveing lunatic when im with people.
2) Euphoric, slightly sick, numb.
3) Ketamine, but that isnt an exact description, you just have to see for yourself.
