My guy used to take cocaine to fight, back in his teenage years running with a street gang (yeah I said he also was a cop in his early twenties. classic poacher turned gamekeeper xd).Yes. Cocaine is a central nervous system stimulant. It would be a pretty big oversimplification, but "super powers" is a fair enough way of helping someone to understand. My Grandpa was pretty famous in his small town for lifting a commercial tractor off of a trapped guy using only his own strength. A lot of us would be amazed what the human body is actually capable of. The biological mechanism is intended to always leave us with a reserve of power in the event that we need to fight for our survival.
Stimulants like Cocaine and Amphetamines trigger the release of many of the "fight or flight" neurotransmitters that we hold in reserve. This allows a person to operate on a subjectively "higher level" than a "nromal" person would be able to. Anyone reading this would likely than ask the question, what do they do when that "power" runs out? Users are then left in the stereotypical zombified state until they are able to get high again.
If you take two of the same man, let's for fun say they're twins. If you give each one a baseball bat and tell them to fight to the death, the person who is on Cocaine is more likely to win the fight. They will be less likely to yield, run out of stamina and would likely have an easier time with severe violence than a person without Cocaine. It's pretty much what you're describing.
If you're say, trying to beat someone at Boggle, I'd probably put my money on the non-Cracked person, so even like superheroes in the comics, there are means of defeating them despite their immense power.
He says it turned him into a human wrecking ball.
