My personal opinion is no.

Will they find weapons of mass destruction?
Most likely if they care to look under their own rug.

Will they find Osama?
I've gotten the impression they've given up the search.

Anyone else think they'll actually track down these individuals?

I think there's a good chance they'll 'find' something, whether it be WMD, Saddam or Osama, right before the 2004 US election....

And perhaps Little Johnny and George Bush Jnr can coordinate their elections.

of course not...

why would they ?

but there has goto be something hidden some where cause it dont make any sense and america looks pretty tardlike warring a country for nothing and having little resistance at all

meh.. and all the stuff in the museums that was destroyed or stolen

YEAH GOOD WORK AMERICA! there all just agressive christians

I think steve said it best to begin with, they'll release their trump cards right before the election and the US public will buy it since so many just luuurrrve their president. Cynacism is something I have in spades when it comes to the Republicans.

hmm damn war, damn stupid white men. i dunno whether anyone will ever find anything, but i dont think georgey knows what the hell is going on so *shrugs* as long as innocent people arent dying thats all i really care about these days

Seriously, Saddam has to get off his bony arse and start mailing threatening videotapes to the world like OBL, or he is in serious danger of losing his megalomaniac panache.

I think the more important question to ask is.... will they ever catch Comical Ali, the Iraqi Minister for Information?

Worrying reports in today's press suggest that he may have been arrested during a routine check at a roadblock.

As anyone who knows and loves Ali would realise, this is simply one big falsehood... why, even now he is rallying the rebuilt divisions of the Republican Guard as they prepare to retake Baghdad from the American infidel.... these reports are all lies, lies I tell you!

If they could ever "convert" him, he'd make the perfect press secretary for Dubya.

The info minister was Mohammad Al-sahaf.
Ari Fleischer is a much better liar, but not as fun I guess.

Actually, he's resigned recently, theres an opening!

Go Sahaf!

I think a raving, delusional loony speaking for Dubya is oddly appropriate...

call me cynical but i believe they've probably already killed both of them.
especially with respect to hussein, if they ever released to the public that they did murder him (which is still illegal regardless what country you control, and what war you're fighting), the amount of political and social backlash would be extrordinary. the US government copped so much shit for the war on iraq that i dont think they could possibly get away with a (relatively) public style execution (eg. "saddamn's bunker was bombed today in baghdad"). i think most people realise that US pretty well much does what it wants anyway, but i dont think they want to rub into people's faces that they can get away with murder, and kill who they want, when they want, how they want.

as for osama, who knows? maybe he did get away. the amount of footage that's been released by "him" since 9/11 is pretty convincing. i'm sure he took into account that when the planes did fly into the buildings, the US would be pretty pissed off about it, so he found the best hiding spot he could find in the world. having said that, i still wouldn't be surprised if it came to be found that he was in fact dead, and the US had topped him in some super secret delta squad mission type thing 6 months ago.

one last thing, if the US did release to the public that they had infact found saddamn and osama, that would mean they would need to find a new "enemy of freedom" to feed lies and bullshit to the american public about. i'm sure they would probably pick north korea or china, but then again, i think they would be a lot less of a pushover than saddamn was (with his shitty falling to bits empire that the US pretty well much destroyed anyway in the 1st gulf war). China and North Korea possess a LOT of weapons, and i wouldnt really like to see them pissed off.

From what I have read in the Bulletin, the war on Iraq was meant to start somewhat later than it did (by a few hours). However, some good intelligence came in the last second, and they decided to pummel a palace with curise missiles because they were fairly certain he was there. They openly wanted to kill him outright, and prevent any further confilct. If this is true, that what you said cannot be true.
