If I gain any more weight, I will get diabetes. Also I need to be able to drive to work everyday.

Ask your doctor what other medicines may be an option instead. How long have you been on this one and why can't you drive to work?

Yupp. Tell the doctor that you read studies that conclusively showed that antipsychotics cause brain shrinkage. Look up "antipsychotic brain shrinkage" and bring the many articles you find to him. Also tell him about the increased diabetes risk.
If you do this he will stop forcing it on you

Have you been sectioned? Court ordered to seek medical intervention of some sort? Or has your doctor just suggested that you take anti-psychotics? Answering these questions should give you the answer you are looking for.

We have no idea what the diagnosis is. Most likely has every "right" to refuse until hospitalized, or even incarcerated. Whether or not it might get there has not been divulged.

I think the original question has been responded to. Unfortunately, we're not at liberty to divulge legal information, so i'm closing this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to pm myself and/or the other moderators of MH.
