I am a mick. I was an alcoholic(now allergic, literally my whole body will itch for a while after a little bit of alcohol)

My ancestors( most from Ireland)
I have a temper and as an adult, I have gotten into fist fights.
I love potatoes, beer( which I can no longer enjoy)
I am argumentative and occasionally belligerent.
I can get a tan, though
I can joke about my own kind, do you yell at blacks for saying, the 'n' word( too their faces) I don't mean underlings, either.
I have right to joke about my own kind. I got diagnosed with chorsis of the liver just before turning 40.
I also was making a joke, and the member who started this found it amusing, because he is a mick also.
Chill out, I was joking and the other guy( who is of Irish decent also laughed)
I thought you social justice warriors; didn't give a shit about straight white men anyways.

i don't hate you. hate, to me, is an ugly emotion.

and i don't "always go after you". if being asked questions or having your assumptions challenged feels like an attack, i can't help with that. i think if you took my comments at face value, you'd see them differently.

if you'd like to pick this up in a pm we can do that to avoid drifting this even further off topic.

That is pretty profound. For the sake of oneness I call all humans Earthlings. We live on Earth. But what about another planet? Are we all from the same galaxy? What would that be called?

And the internet is just communication. Communication comes in a million forms. Meant to break down time and space between beings. Communicate thoughts and feelings between one another. Non verbal seems to be the instant transfer on some higher level. The quantum transfer. bah...

Lol, "humans" is already a kinda oneness type term though isn't it? Since Earthlings technically includes slugs and elephants and whatever else, whales, deep sea squid... I mean why not though I guess. 😅

I guess all lifeforms from the Milky Way would be Milkywayans, although that sounds kinda clunky compared to our Andromedan neighbours. Also some of the nationalists in the satellite galaxies might object, like the ones from the 'clouds (larger and smaller Magellanics)... who might insist on something more inclusive, or the right to retain their own galactic identity, I dunno. But probably all the other local galaxies from Andromeda and beyond would just call us Milkys, maybe that would be considered an intergalactic slur though...

In 2 billion years or so when Andromeda reaches us and begins to merge, probably mixing up most of the smaller local satellites in the process we'll all become Milkdromedans I guess.
 
I doubt that our Terran internet would be of much use at interstellar distances. The nature of EMF means that as the waves travel they become less and less focused ( and intelligible ) due to the wave forms spreading and becoming less and less distinct following the inverse square root rate. An advanced civilization might be able to just about make out that what they receive is not background or naturally occurring EMF, but receiving, detecting (in the electronic sense) and demodulating / translating that to a meaningful message is likely a difficult task. A lot happens to any signal that travels long distances even when it is purposefully being transmitted. The internet is not being "transmitted" beyond earth's local influences, only leaked (in electronic terms) signals from the internet would be available to those in distant galaxies.

They probably could guess that there is "intelligent" life using some form of technology, but actual messages would be too weak for our current level of technology communications to reach them reasonably intact. They would likely have to send some form of technology or team to travel nearer (maybe even on earth) for them to actually access the actual internet.

Wow great point. Are all living things on Earth Earthlings? And yes we should have learned already the term humans is already oneness without using Earthlings. But we are silly humans of course.

I actually like the term Milkywayans. although we have time to work on it. ;)
 
There are a host of strange people on Twitter on urology conspiracy level issues who appear to be alien. Take it with a grain of salt.
