Do all drugs eventually lose their magic?

Yeah man seriously I agree^ 900mgs?!?! That's bottles & bottles & bottles worth for just one high, I highly recommend moving up the ladder.

Heroin; in the beginning just a curse disguised as magic. Which in the later stages the user will soon discover.

opiates most definitely lose their magic over time but will still provide a very dulled out contentment even after years of use..

adderal and other uppers lose their magic really quickly ime and end up turning on you pretty quick, ie they backfire and turn you into an anxious, irritable, sluggish wreck.

Benzos were never magical in the first place so lol

the only drug that has seemed to be able to still pack a punch after a long time of use is ghb or Bdo..if you can keep it to once a day or every few days it still packs a whallop..its not mind blowing euphoria like in the beginning but still does the trick :)

You know, the only time I think benzos can be magical at all, are if it's the first time for any user to experience what they are like-especially if they are not a regular user of any other substance. There is some magic there. But if you are looking at them from the perspective of years of using different drugs-especially high doses of just benzos themselves daily, then yes they would just be holding the user, minus the "magic" so they don't get a seizure or withdrawal from them. And then there are those who might be dope sick-and desperate. At that point-if all they can get there hands on is a benzo-if no opiates are available, than yes, any benzo will be a small measure of magic to a restless, craving addict. :)

Well, as known, the brain does adapt - because of it's neuroplasticity. But I personally haven't experienced any loss of "high" on any drugs at all.
