Wondering if anyone is smarter than me in this area.. In the world of electronic bass music, what are the differences between grime (particularly electronic UK grime) and this new style of halftime I’m beginning to see pop up more here in the US.
Many of these tracks labeled as halftime by either the artist or others have a feel as if US artists essentially picked up the UK grime style but altered it in typical US fashion to be a bit more hyped up and with less MC’ing in total.
Anyone care to elaborate, google didn’t help me much..
