1. Why is dermorphin stable at room temperature in venom on a stick, but not stable as a powder? (it needs to be frozen, preferably at -20 degrees Celsius.

2. Is there a way to store dermorphin, then, in a way that you don't need to freeze it?

1. I doubt it's stable at room temperature as venom if it's not stable at room temperature as a pure substance.
2. Under vaccuum? Who knows. Protiens can denature relatively easily upon exposure to energy sources/pH changes.

1. Well, it is. I definitely feel the dermorphin effects when I take the venom. It's stored at room temperature.

2. I have a Hoover...

So far I have not been helped. I don't have a vacuum of any kind.

It would be cool if one could make a venom-like solution that keeps pure dermorphin stable at room temperature like the venom does.

If the venom is stable at RT the pure peptide should be too. Frog venom is going to be a lot more ... complex and hostile of an environment for chemicals rather than dry air. Maybe there's pH stabilizers or antioxidants or something in the venom too.

yeah, cuz, people's experiences with pure dermorphin (of which there are very few, but still) match very closely my experience with dervenom.
