Damn even not burned in they're 100x better than any other headphone I've used.

They're $350 new everywhere but Amazon, where they're only $290. $4 overnight shipping because I couldn't wait for Monday 8(

Listening to Blueberry Yum Yum and I can clearly hear things I didn't even know existed in the song.

Anyone else got some good audiophile headphones?

I hear really good things about those cans but it's open-backed or nothing for me. Right now I'm just using old Sennheisers because I don't have the money for a good set of cans since my favorites bit the dust. I've improved sound on the Senns a fair bit by tying in a resistor adapter to boost impedance and it's hooked up to an excellent DAC processing untouched 24-bit PCM. Since your cans are really low impedance normally I bet you could greatly boost the sound quality by adding a resistor adapter and hooking it up to a decent amp (FiiO e9 is a popular choice). Yes, once you've been exposed to audiophile sound... you realize headphones are just the tip of the iceberg :D

Never heard of a resistor adapter on Denon AH-Ds. Couldn't hurt to violate an old cable I have though I guess. And I'd use an amp but my phone has Voodoo Sound which essentially does it for me, at the cost of maybe a few minutes battery life.
