DCM's raided in SYD

Any info on the DCM raid in Sydney ? the police got a court order for the raid, made 1 arrest (poor prick) 1 arrest is a joke (great return on investment). Apparently shut the club down and found heaps of drugs on the floor...
Will we see any similar raids elswhere in Australia ? (remember Vic police @ TASTY) or is it just a publicity stunt ?
For the police to obtain a court order to raid the premises is the club notified so it may contest the order ??
 
I heard on the radio the police is giving it 3 days to "clean its act up"... so shut down for 3 days??
dunno..... was too sleepy this morning....
 
on the subject of the tasty raid... it was probably the best thing to ever happen for victorian clubs because its cost the police 8 million dollars so far in damages and court costs... the unofficial police line is now that raids on clubs arent worth it...
i'd be interested to know more about this DCM raid tho... it didnt really make the news down here

And given the 60 minutes stuff, mums & dads can now rest assured that the police have taken action and all this nasty business will just go away.
Anyway, I wont be clubbing for a few weeks. Im going to see if I can rape some horses instead
 
I presume it is usually shut on those 3 days anyway..but it did make the news in Melb. it was on Sunday news 5:00pm Channel 10 and also the late news on channel 09. Anyway can police get a court order to raid a club without the clubs knowledge ?? On DCM's l have been their once is it a big loss for Sydney if it shuts ? it's in need of renovations is my opinion. But the place goes off if you are into it...
 
What would you do, drop your gear or swallow it.....for me, there is no better feeling then peaking whilst being strip searched!

Sorry, forgot to add ; Tasty raid in Melb, was not your average raid the patrons were harrassed and strip searched. Also the gay community in Melb. rallied and lobbied very aggresively for the result. If same was to happen to say a "straight" club the result l think could be different as the influence and lobbying would not be so great unless of their was a bluelight meet up at the time of the raid....any legal eagle bluelighters ?
 
DCM was a good club pre '96.
After that it went down hill fast.
Now its just a shit hole where lebbos and try hard gangstas hang out.
kinda glad its shut!

nrg hasn't really been my scene over the years. Don't mind it, but i don't hate it either. Try a decent club for once...ie. HOME or GLOBE.
There's less attitude and music is tops.
As for nrg clubs, they're all the same DCM, BYBLOS(not so much last time i went) and the place next door, NV. The one thing that annoys me about energy clubs is that youl'll hear the same songs every sat night week in week out for a whole year!

Try GO out in the cross, nicish crowd (actually met my girlfriend there and i normally never go for girls who frequent cross clubs) was some problems with a "ceartin" group of patrons, but the bouncer who was letting them in has been fired and i returned for the first time in a few weeks and was pleasantly suprised kept chargin till at least 8

I normally go to Rogues for the hi-nrg xperience, ive been to GO too a few times, cool place it reminds me of DCM's. But i like the crowd at Rogues on friday nites, where everyone makes each other go offfffff.
I havent really been to clubs like HOME or Globe. But i dont think id like it too much cos of the music.. dont know..
 
sleeper i think you know what you talking about- last week i spent thursay, friday and saturday at Home and i was at SOS on sunday (Greenwood Hotel.
iv never tryed Globe as I only popped my first E on Thursday night, and i loved it. Iv always been into RnB and Hip Hop music but always like dance and Hi Nrg as well.
Im gonna do the same this week at Home and i cant wait till i go out.
Iv managed to get a bag of 50 CK gold's and im lovin the sence.

hi-nrg clubs in sydney. they wouldn't be so bad if they weren't full of muscle men who can't dance, skinny guys who think its cool to know gay guys but are obviously straight, underage girls appealing to bouncers ego's, and repetitve hinrg music with no soul whatsoever played by dj's copping blowjobs under the decks by coked up skanks who think its cool to hang out on oxford street..
well its not all that bad :-]

love the form dropping bfore/during a raid is a trip man.. and l mean it would be a trip.
I mean what would you do if you are peaking at your fave club, u strike up a convo with that elusive girl/boy the one that has been giving you the look (So you think) for the last month and bang lights on, cops start to pour into the place could be a chance of undercovers around, and maybe sniffer dogs??
Do you :
1. Swallow some of your stash dump the rest
2. Stash it in your private areas
3. Give it to your new girl/boy to stash
4. Dump the whole lot on the ground
5. Or just get on your knees and start consuming other peoples stash
