Has anyone tried levodopa/carbidopa/entacapone to counteract the terrible effects of anti psychotics? I'm being forced to take anti psychotics by depot and have developed severe Parkinsonism, which the anti side effects meds don't touch. If anybody has any experience if the entacapone drug pls advise me of dosage etc

Most if not all medications that ameliorate the motor-effects of dopamine antagonists also attenuate the therapeutic effects. I'd look into exploring a wider array of new-generation anti-psychotics, as they tend to have reduced motor-effects, and yes, consult your physician about this.

But also, let it be known that we're not here to tell you what drugs to take, particularly those psychiatric. I'm going to move this to the mental health subforum.

The extra-Pyramidal side effect can be reduced by Benadryl but it causes drowsiness. The sucks ass that you are forced to take those ravaging poisons. What led to this? Is there any way you can the doctor's trust and come off them?

For future reference, we prefer some explanation about your links' relevance and your inferences from the finding of the linked evidence. Thanks.
