Wouldn't read too much into reviews for this one, any mainstream press is going to review it with fairly broad references to its existence as a sequel. I've got confidence that it will be a great screenplay set in the trainspotting universe, it doesn't need to "live up to the original" in any way other than that to be totally worth the build up imo.
 
I think it will be good - it will just do what it says on the tin. Dealing with a story about 40 something year old folk who have basically fucked there life up just will not - by definition - be as bouncy in tone as the first one.

I do put a reasonable amount of stock in Empires ratings normally though - I've subscribed to that mag for 18 years and I generally agree with what they say about 75% of the time in their reviews as do a few people that I know who read it. I don't know if we've been conditioned by prolonged exposure or not... 8(
 
Porno was not that good of a book though and its based on that.
 
Does anyone else find Ewan McGregor fucking irritating in real life?? id really like to cut him when he waxes lyrical. looking forward to the film tho mainly for Jonny lee Miller. he is a great actor fantastic in Elementary

From what I've gathered, it is an original screenplay that takes elements from porno rather than a direct adaptation. I've never read Porno, I loved Skagboys and Filth though (and the first quarter of Trainspotting before some cunt nicked it along with a bunch of other stuff myself and a group of friends left unattended in a random park we were camping out in when we went to Alton Towers while in high school.... including our tents!)

Five years ago? Meh, she's still maturing nicely. Could do with putting on a bit of weight though - I like my GILFS BBW (like Pandora ;) ).
