i was saying that if you white wall an awesome bong and hold in the smoke of some dank a couple times, sooner or later you will cough.

I don't believe coughing alters the high, it's all about the size of the hits.

it probably gets you higher b/c you're smoking a hit large enough to make you cough...or the weed is just harsh. often, very potent weed makes me cough more than normal, especially when i take a large hit.

^^ yeah thats the point i was trying to make, too stoned to get it across. to correct assumptions i don't cough while holding the smoke in. i breath out real smooth i cough after exhaling because it is satisfying.

That's exactly what I do, I don't cough untill I exhale first

Ill cough sometimes but after i hold in my rip for as long as i can, and yeah i usually do feel higher but its cause i took a big rip and help it in for a long time. Dont think the cough does anything to make you higher. BTW if youre fighting about who is smoking right and wrong then maybe you arent smoking right.
