Converting base H to HCL - Would this work?

So to prep base heroin for a shot you put it in a cooker, and some citric acid + a little water, heat it up and it's good to go.

So surely if you did the same thing but instead of shooting it you evaped off the water, you'd be left with the HCL form?

might be considered synth discussion??? but i dont think that would be the proper way at all i would convert to a hydrochloric salt, and do that by using hydrochloric acid, in the form of concentrated muriatic acid that would be used for POOL ph or removal of certain debris,
all would be fucking stupid to do and maybe just buy some none base H, if not an option smoke that shit
