Hi there a friend of mine who i have been lifting with recently purchased superdrol off of the internet and is going to start a cycle of it. This made me start to consider trying a cycle as well. i am 20 years old 6 1 and 175 pounds. i have been reading about it on this forum and it seems like at my age it probably wouldnt be smart to start taking steroids yet. I have only used creatine and protein as supplements. i was wondering if there are any other none steroid supplements you guys would recommend trying before being to drastic and starting a cycle. Also any advice on nutrition to put on more mass would be welcome. Any advice about lifting at all would be welcome really :)

Add a good BCAA product in there bro. At 20 years old your test levels are FINE. Sounds like you need to spend some money on FOOOOOOOOOOD. You are going the right route and your head is in the right place. Your friend might pass you up for a little bit, but by bodybuilding right - you'll end up the biggest in the end.

Grab a generic bulking diet off of bodybuilding.com or pick up a copy of FLEX or MUSCULAR DEVELOPMENT. Diet should be something like this:

Meal 1
1/2 serving fruit
1 cup oats
10 egg whites, 2 whole eggs

Meal 2
6-8 oz chicken
1 cup rice or pasta

Meal 3
6-8 oz of lean beef
8 oz sweet potato

Meal 4
6-8 oz of chicken or turkey
2/3 cups of rice

TRAIN
BCAA's+CREATINE PRE WORKOUT

Post workout shake
Include a fast acting carb source + a scoop of protein isolate +BCAAs+Creatine

Meal 5
8 oz lean beef
1 cup pasta

Meal 6
2 tbsp natural pb
1 cup cottage cheese

You should SERIOUSLY grow if you follow this to a T. Cheat meal a couple times a week.

And I feel this is necessary to post for BLUE LIGHTERS:

Try not drinking. Keep rec drug use to a minimum. Marijuana is okay, but avoid ANY and all uppers if you're trying to gain weight. This will absolutely kill your gains.

thank you for the advice. if i eat that much wont i gain fat? or since its pretty much high protein it will turn into muscle?

If you're 6'1" - 175 , some fat gain won't hurt you if you're wanting to pack on the mass. Ease into this diet and avoid fast food, sugars, etc. If you're serious about this stick to water and diet sodas.

Nice. I'm excited to hear about your results. Twenty years old...lots of potential still there without busting into the drugs!

Try a muscle relaxer post work out. It's been my experience that it help relax my muscles and help them grow. Definitely not a necessity but, it has worked for me and I can only speak of my own experience.

Also, remember, Arnold smoked pot and look how big he was. So, you can do that during it as well.

You should have your first cycle completely mapped out- then give a few months consideration if you really want to do it.

Weigh the risks. If you have not been lifting for at least a 2 years I would not even consider it. You want to get the most out of those beginner gains in the first cycle as possible.

We don't know what your body composition is like, or your current squat/deadlift/bench/ohp maxes are. There is no telling if you're ready to start a cycle based on what you're telling us.

Certainly spend a long time doing research and ask specific questions. Asking general questions about gear like "what should I take?" is a bad move. Everyone is different and different roids do different things to your body composition.

You shouldn't drink on a cycle at all. All of the negative things alcohol does to your naturally will be much worse on a cycle. Bodybuilding and alcohol do not mix well.

As for stimulants... If you can take them and want to weigh the risks of less mass gains and heart attacks, be my guest.

I agree with you, but at the same time there are a lot of great athletes that started young.

But as far as gains go, 6'1 175 is definitely no where near your genetic potential. If you want to make the best bang for your buck and avoid injury and other adverse side-effects, it's best to take the side of caution and build a lot more natural muscle 10-20 pounds.

Did you know that he was also on steroids and had freak genetics?

Don't be an idiot. The man probably smoked a handful of times in one year. Using his smoking as justification for yours is about the dumbest thing I've heard.

If you want the quickest, most solid gains possible, you'll avoid anything that doesn't build muscle, not necessarily things that will slow your gains down. It can be argued whether pot will stop your gains or not, but here's the thing: It definitely won't make your gains any better. That is enough reason for me never to smoke.

I knew a competitive bodybuilder who smoked almost everyday, but it was moreso to help him bulk and build mass. It had nothing to do with muscle relaxation, haha.

I was in the best shape of my life when smoking everyday. I read somewhere that a substance similar to deca is released from cannabis. I have also read that cannabis increases estrogen and decreases tesosterone. Smoking anything decreases nitrogen levels. I always found the best time to smoke was after the post workout meal as it loosend me up. Also a little buzz before the gym would ease any anxiety I had about working outt. Maybe I would of made better gains if I didn't smoke.

Yeah.....I'm gonna have to see where you read that.

Also, anxiety about working out? Thought I had bad anxiety but damn, I feel bad for you.

I disagree. I wouldn't gain anything if it wasn't for cannabis. Nausea limits my ability to eat food without cannabis.

I think it's unfair to say this Voxide.

Maybe cannabis can't help you out, so you stay away from it. But without cannabis, I'd likely weigh 10-15 lbs less than I do now.

I use cannabis regularly. Up until about 6 weeks out from the show when I just can't bare the munchies anymore. Pretty sure my test levels are gtg though ;)

I know for a fact that you have to consume a certain percentage of dietary fat just to have an optimal testosterone level.

Therefore, if you need help getting the appetite for such an amount of food, cannabis can definitely be a positive factor.

On the other hand, if you just spend all your money on weed, and no money on food, and consequentially don't spend any time in the gym, it's obviously not going to help.

I think it comes down to how you're using it to be honest.

Smoking cannabis effects oxygen levels in the blood. post workout, this would be severely detrimental.
