You should have your first cycle completely mapped out- then give a few months consideration if you really want to do it.
Weigh the risks. If you have not been lifting for at least a 2 years I would not even consider it. You want to get the most out of those beginner gains in the first cycle as possible.
We don't know what your body composition is like, or your current squat/deadlift/bench/ohp maxes are. There is no telling if you're ready to start a cycle based on what you're telling us.
Certainly spend a long time doing research and ask specific questions. Asking general questions about gear like "what should I take?" is a bad move. Everyone is different and different roids do different things to your body composition.
And I feel this is necessary to post for BLUE LIGHTERS:
Try not drinking. Keep rec drug use to a minimum. Marijuana is okay, but avoid ANY and all uppers if you're trying to gain weight. This will absolutely kill your gains.
You shouldn't drink on a cycle at all. All of the negative things alcohol does to your naturally will be much worse on a cycle. Bodybuilding and alcohol do not mix well.
As for stimulants... If you can take them and want to weigh the risks of less mass gains and heart attacks, be my guest.
Nice. I'm excited to hear about your results. Twenty years old...lots of potential still there without busting into the drugs!
I agree with you, but at the same time there are a lot of great athletes that started young.
But as far as gains go, 6'1 175 is definitely no where near your genetic potential. If you want to make the best bang for your buck and avoid injury and other adverse side-effects, it's best to take the side of caution and build a lot more natural muscle 10-20 pounds.
