Considering steroids, pleas suggest.

Yeah you put on weight like I do....when I get big my back looks like a giant slab of meat, before I notice any change in myself my back has to get way way smaller first

20% is fair.....like someone suggested about 15-20% is a perfectly fair estimate
So that is why I don't know what I am doing wrong in here they tell me to bump calories. In other forums they say I'm not tracking correctly my calories and bumping them is wrong.

Others say my workouts are wrong cuz they are not a real program... I'm. Confused now

how long have u been working out?

how long have u been working out?

I have workout since I was 18 years old, but when I was younger I started strong like 1 year nonstop, but then i started working college and i was training whenever i could but not that often. Then since 2012 I been non stop, researching knowing more about macros, diet, workout, roids, following people etc.. I can say I have 3 years nonstop with my ups and downs meaning I have tried different trainers, local trainers, nutritionists, etc

Ok so from today back, how long have you been working out straight?
If i ask question you already answered go ahead and answer them again i havent posted much in this thread because I take a different approach to helping people. Real basic ABC shit, im not much into the science of it i just have a basic idea of what is effective kind of the KISS approach to things.

Almost 3 years

Alright and how much weight have you lost and how has your body composition changed. Have you continued a strick diet during this time?

Yes have done strict diet like I said. I have tried different approaches.. local trainers, online trainers, carb cycling, counting macros etc obviously on period of times 3+ months not jsut randomly changing I give it a try before changing up.

I will say it has change but not to much. I was less weight but skinny before those years and after that i got a trainer that bump my weight from 165 i think to 182-185 lbs that is when I started the 3 years non stop coming down to 170-172 lbs as of now.

OK and what do your workouts look like?
i also have tried different approaches

i have tried the most recently 4-5 exercises per muscle 4-5 sets of 12-15 reps low rest

I have tried the current one 4-5 exer per muscle as well 4-5 sets of 6-8 reps moderate rest going heavy

when it comes to cardio i try to combine LISS and HIIT depends on the time I have

Alright well im guessing from what ive read you have a pretty decent diet. The hardest thing to do is be extremely lean naturally because your body isnt designed to do that, so its going to be very hard

For me to be lean I have to do an hour of cardio every morning on an empty stomach as well as workout that is normally many sets and many reps mixed in with low set high rep workouts every so often. I also play sports so thats something extra. Do to be lean like that cardio and a workout session midway through the day is just about mandatory. How long have you been working out with the idea of getting extremely lean because I can also tell you its very hard work and takes a good amount of time

You cant cheat yourself on the amount of food and calories youre taking in because if you do that when you do it your body will store it as fat because your body will assuming its going through periods of starvation.

Well yes I try to do cardio hit 20-30 min or liss 45-60 min. I try to track and weigh everything... so im confused with the past suggestions of bumpin calorie sup since they say my body has a new maintenance 1770 which I had for 3 months no weight loss.. so this week im doing 2.3k cals then going back to a deficit, but i jsut dont know what I am doing wrong...

Well for one you listed 100 forms of help, you have been lifting for a long time you said. Have you not figured out what works for yourself yet? We can all suggest 100 ways to do things but ultimately you should know what your body responds too at this point

You shouldnt be concerned about losing weight as per the number the only thing that should matter is the way you look. I came home from prison look like a bouncy ball, ive lost maybe 5lbs of the 6 weeks ive been dieing and working out by my body composition has greatly changed which is what im after. Youre not making weight for a fight youre going after a look.

As far as the calories thing you have to keep your body guessing, when you follow a diet your body will get stagnet as to what its used to. I stay on the same diet all the time but i do certain things to mix it up, every so often when I go to the store ill buy something that has nothing to do with my diet, whether its its 6 chocolate doughnuts or like today I got a bunch of mixed fruit from the cold section of walmart. I switch up the food I eat all the time, sometimes ill go a few weeks eating chicken and fish, then i might switch to chickicen and turkey meat, then maybe turkey meat and fish...i switch up the vegetables all the time, all kinds of shit. Every UFC i pretty much eat a pizza and the cookie that comes with it. You just gotta find what your body responds too, again we can give you lots of suggestions but at some point you have to stop asking for questions and help and just figure out what works for you. Also like i said just like my food fluctuates my calories move around with it, always guessing always making my body work always doing things to stimulate metabolism

Also 30 minutes of cardio is no good man, you may as well not even do it. Its gonna be at least an hour, depending on your diet during your work out your body needs to spend a certain amount of time burning away carbs or fat(again depending on your diet) before it gets to burning off excess amounts of fat to reach the goal you want as far as looks go.

Thats another thing now that I mention if, you may want to try different types of diets and not stick to basic thing. Like me I eat no bred pretty much ever except for the things I mentioned above, no oatmeal no rice nothing I get all my carbs from vegetables normally, but i do eat a lot of fat and I do this with the thinking that I want my body condition to use fat for energy rather then carbs from something like rice or oatmeal, you may wanna try that if you havent.

The fact you said " I try to do cardio hit 20-30 min or liss 45-60 min" tells me your biggest problem might be you not putting the work in. If i didnt lose my phone I could show you pictures of me killing the elliptical so hard depending on the energy i have for the day and clocking an estimated 1000+ calories burned in an hour period. No matter the amount of steroids you do or dont take, supplements diet, all that trivial shit the most important thing is you have to put the work in

And when im working out and really trying to lose weight im going at it like im still wrestling, long pants, long shirts, sweaters, the whole 9 anything to get a great sweat going and make sure my heart rate is way u. Its all about the work. I have a friend who looks much much bigger then me who does the physique comps and he works at damn near 3x a day. Cardio, weights then he does muay thai or some kind of HIT training and he looks exactly how youre explaining you want to look

After reading all you said:

* I dont "try" to do cardio I do the cardio. I just try to combine different types of cardio(i got this from doing research that is good to combine types of cardio). I do that amount of cardio for each type also because I read that HIIT cardio goes max 30 min and LISS goes max 60 min.

* Maybe you have a point and might be my problem, I havent quiet figure out what works for me. I do not know how to figure that out, I have tried lifting weights doing dropsets, supersets with low rest to maintain a high heart rate and I feel good and I sweat like a bitch. I have tried going low reps going heavy I feel ok, but I feel like without someone giving me a spot I cant go as heavy or sometimes I dont feel like I work out hard enough, because in some exercises I need help.

* When it comes to diet I am just plain and boring, I would love to switch it and I try to do it but with little few things. I do this because of time having the same everyday is easier and lot faster ( plus gotta budget )

* Yes right now I am going for the looks or maybe getting on a physique competition, this is because I want to be able to transform my body then I can focus on size and strength.

* Also for eating processed foods I try to do it at minimum or treat them as a cheat meal, but i do stick to a diet with whole foods. I do track everything.

* I know at some point I have to stop asking for help, but right now I am confused because I have not be able to even get the top abs which i think are the easiest. I wont give up, but yes I am getting frustrated.

Its all trail and error man. try something for a few months see how well it worked, if it doesnt work well change up to something else.

and youre talking about HIT training, im talking about just hopping on a tread mill or elliptical and just going ham

ok i thought you were talking multiple sets of some sort of cardio activity, i dont think you can put a limit on cardio within reason as long as you arnt absolutely just draining yourself
