this struck me with a lot of awe

i felt it needed an honest share

really quite remarkable, im so used to beating myself up, i lost sight of the positives of introvertism, although deconstructing the word now it all makes sense to me :)

its a pretty profound ted talk and a 19 minutes well spent imo

I enjoyed that, thanks. It bugs me that introverts are still perceived as unsociable.

i hope the people that need it most watch it and understand, mostly if they are at a point in their life where they are beating themselves up a lot

it takes a lot of creativity and smarts to come up with semi-infinite reasons why your not good enough

Good video, I'm glad introversion is starting to be understood more and more by everyone. I'm an introvert myself and it's always been tiring and frustrating to deal with people who just think you're anti-social.

This picture is also one that I send to people who still don't quite get it.

Thank you for sharing this.. I often get depressed about being an introvert because not only do i happen to be pretty heavily introverted, but because of this i have issues with forming/keeping relationships and never developed good social skills. Coupled with being a drug addict through my teens into young adulthood, now I'm an introverted social moron who currently has no friends other than my girlfriend and having a hard time keeping her.

However, this thread has given me hope and with a new year and a new day, I hope to finally start making my mark on the world. :)
