Exercise definitely helps you recover faster, exercise can help increase your blood flow which invega decreases, if you increase your blood flow to your shoulder where you were injected it releases more invega into the body faster this can be bad at first cause you’ll feel the side effects and zombie like feeling more but it will get it out of your system as fast as possible so your brain can rewire it’s self faster, the first month on invega I barely exercised at all I was in and out of the hospital with medication side effects (I took 5 other meds that were strong and had blockbox warnings for side effects along with invega making the hell worse). I got med free by the time I was 1.5 months off the injections then once I was 2 months off I could walk 3-4 miles, then shortly after month 2.5 I could start lifting weights again and increase my strength, month 3 I could run 2-3 miles and feel a slight endorphin rush from it, month 4 I experienced severe withdrawal and depression but continued to atleast go for long walks everyday (4-6 miles), month 5 the wds subsided and I felt much better I stopped being suicidal and I got back into life slowly I could lift at the gym everyday and get a lot of work done and build muscle tone, month 6 I improved a little but more but only slightly, once month 7 came around I am now really ripped again my body is almost as good as it was pre invega now I can max squat 300, max bench 250, and max deadlift 380, physically I’m doing amazing nowadays but mentally I’m still recovering from mild depression/anhedonia I can definitely enjoy stuff a good amount but it’s not like pre injections the way i feel now though is a luxury compared to how I felt my first month on the shots I’m very grateful for how far I’ve come.
