Peoples minds are made up that these meds are good. It’s a part of their belief system that doctors and scientists have developed these helpful medications. You cannot convince anyone that the meds are bad. They’re dug in.
But in my case it is really painful to listen that my problem is the psychosis because I am very bad and I get no support, just complains saying I should go to another psychiatrist or to hospitalize myself when I know what's the truth. Meanwhile I'm not getting any better. Just worse because the benzo usage and sleeping less and less

I don't see future for me without being able to sleep my life span is 7months to 3 years of agony. They have killed me and no one can help me. The only thing they will do is give me benzos but they are beginning to stop working. I take them since the first injections in August

Why don’t you try visiting a hormone therapist?
Sounds like your hormones may be imbalanced.

I took my last 39mg shot on May 24. I would have taken my next shot on June 21 but I’m done! So it’s been two weeks since I would have gotten more INVEGA.

39 day half life.
7 days a week for 5 weeks is 35 days
I metabolize about 10% a week for the first 5 weeks.

I’m two weeks past when I would have gotten another shot.

So I estimate about 20% is out of my system.

I took a vyvanse today and feel pretty awake. Thank god I’m coming off this stuff. Every month should be a slight improvement! My cognitive is so much better than when I was on 156mg.

I feel so bad for Nina and others who can’t sleep. What a nightmare. I rarely recommend psych meds but in a severe case of not sleeping I would recommend seroquel. 25mg. It’s the best sleep med I know of.

I am 7 months off, and I think the last one I had a "big" improvement and my sleep is becoming a little more normal. On the other hand, I still have very low blood pressure and get dizzy easily. That sucks because for example I can´t do workouts the way I would like. I had very bad moments with these but seems I am the only one who has these problem.

I'm not 100% sure but definitely prolactin.

@Afernandes1 what would you suggest?
In Spain at least, prolactin is checked with a normal blood test. I did mine a month ago.

I was addicted to benzos, I vaporized hard them so I know the problem. But in my opinion, if they help you deal better with invega, compared to this... for me tapering benzos it is childrens play. Especially if we talk about insomnia but I say it again, it's my opinion.

2 and a half months off already

honestly I feel a bit worse than I was since last update: I'm starting to realize that the daily walking and the occasional hanging out with friends on discord or exercising just aren't fulfilling enough

I even try to push myself to watch TV and play some games but anhedonia and bad cognitives still bite really hard in the nuts. Reading books is also off my capabilities right now

the fact that I managed to do a complete exercise routine three days ago+did a bunch of medical exams (for prolactin, test, cortisol and thyroid) which took a huge chunk of my blood might have impacted my mood somehow

almost finished reading all of the previous invega threads as well so I'm soon going to be out of options for killing time

I'm also slowly tapering off of my benzo which isn't good for my sleep schedules

I hope to hit at least a window soon enough: watching the whole world around me having fun, laughs and generally going forward while I'm falling down hurts

Need...more...patience...or rather, something to help me stay positive in a way or another

Would reporting psychiatrists do any good? how do i show 30 different brain damage, gynecomastia and 13 kg of weight ?? and insomnia etc.

I just took a vyvanse and drank 4 monsters. I’m absolutely tweaking. Just seven weeks off the lowest dose (39mg.)

My dopamine receptors seem to be working.

My heart rate is up 20 beats per minute. I can actually feel amphetamines and caffeine again. Like I said, tweaking.

I don’t know exactly what you mean. For 18 months while I was on invega, I couldn’t feel vyvanse or coffee. Now after getting my dose lowered to the lowest dose and now completely off, I can feel the affects of speed again. My dopamine seems to be working again.

Which hormones?

I see it really difficult, we depend on the cousins fan of xeplion to take me by car
I’m not sure which hormones exactly, but hormone therapists usually draw blood for a whole panel review of various hormones like dopamine, serotonin, 5htp, melatonin and prolactin.
Estrogen and progesterone is lowered with invega in the body and is linked to sleep.
They replace hormones in your body that are low, so you might want to give it a try.
There are online medical labs that you can send blood to as well.
It’ll be nice to at least know what your hormone levels are so that you have some evidence to show doctors that your sleep is being affected.
