Cocaine water dissociation

It's just a 2-page pdf with prescribing info. Google 10002200/02.

1 gram per centiliter vs 1 gram per liter.
 
Im a little bit confused. So is what I posted not valid? Can cocaine hcl not be preserved in anhydrous methanol?

Also, i googled and looked into the 10002200/02 and looked into the the document. Doesnt really tell me much about the specifics of the topical constituents. Not to sure what you meant by 1 gram/cm vs 1 gram/L.

Really all im trying to figure out is to find a solvent, such as water, that can dissolve cocaine hcl for long periods (1 yr +} without changing or damaging the overall structure, so it can be extracted through evaporative procedures
 
Not grams per cm. The CH3OH sol'n you located calls for 1 gram per liter. The commercial topical cocaine solution allows for 1 gram in per centiliter (100 grams per liter) and it's formulated to keep at room temperature even after being opened (I'm speculating here--if it's sold in 40 mL bottles, one assumes it'll be used over a period of time, and if side-reactions or contamination were a major concern, I'd assume the maker would give appropriate instructions). Plus the topical sol'n has preservatives to stave off oxidative damage, and the coloring may contribute to this too.

But a lot can transpire in a year! As much as I trust the better minds on this forum, speculation without experimental data has its limits.

Good catch about the catch regarding the product that I have found.

However, this still doesnt quite answer the original question at hand?

What solvent can i use to dissolve cocaine hcl into that can take into account the following criteria
1. anti-microbial
2. low boiling point {if possible}
3. easily obtainable.
 
All this messing around.

Why not just put it into a glass vial, seal it. baggy it then put into a tin and dig a hole and bury it.

You could even plant a flower near to where you buried it to remind you.

OR

you could just bosh it all before you leave.
 
True, I could do that, but something tells me this "technology" could come in handy for me. I do have access to a lot of lab equipment, so Im really trying to find the answer to my question. I appreciate the constant feedback, but as of now, emulating the pharmaceutical topical solution seems too difficult, and am looking for easier alternatives (such as the methanol, which may not be the best due to the minute amount of cocainehcl/ml of methanol}
