Cocaine in the first-aid kit. Is it a good idea?

It would be funny to be hiking with a group of people, and then when you decide to take a break, you pull an 8 ball out your first-aid kit and cut everybody out a line for "fatigue"!....I'd be like, "Wow, WHO is this guy?!"

Maybe - and I am not sure - it would be useful to reduce blood loss during a nose bleed. Possibly not though.

Seeing how cocaine is a vasoconstrictor, I don't see why not....

Also don't see how this pertains to the thread topic though, no offense.

Well the thread topic is about including cocaine in a first aid kit.lol although if you get nose bleeds bad enough to need a vasoconstricter then you probably shouldnt be hiking in the wilderness. Also application of pressure to a wound would be just as effective and safer.

I know what the OP is lol... I just don't think a nose bleed is something that requires a first aid kit. :)

Fully agree with that hatrix!lol
I think you OP was just looking for a good excuse to take an 8 ball on holiday. :-D the first aid kit idea didnt even hold water with us, so theres no way the cops or courts are gonna believe it.

Although if they did, I suppose I could take some H with me incase of a 'twisted ankle'. Or some amps incase of a 'cold'.....the possibilities are endless. :-D

I think this thread has run its course. It's derailing so i'm going to close it, but feel free to PM me if you want it back open for a legitimate reason (if you feel your question hasn't been answered).

To the OP - it's a general agreement that it would be a "safe item" to keep as long as you're not going to misuse it, and may come in helpful in an emergency situation.
