Coke - IV'd - First time
Before I begin, I just want to state a few things. I had become incresingly interested in IV drug use after reading many accounts on here, and PhreeX's guide to IV injection. When everyone says not do it if you don't know what you are doing or have never done it before, they are serious. If you're ever going to do it, make sure you do it with someone who is skilled. Anyway, on to the report.
I got a hold of some coke and decided to try and IV some. I got together with my friend Lee and went to the local pharmacy where I bought a bottle of sodium-free distilled water and some cotton balls. We headed back to my place and I started prepping the mixture. I placed about 1/4 of a key bump in the spoon, and Lee suggested I use less. I heeded his warning and took some out. There was barley any in coke in the spoon, but I figured "better safe than sorry." I drew up some of the distilled water and shot it into the spoon containing the coke. Carefully, I mixed the soultuion together, even though it was all uniform at this point. Next, I ripped off a small piece of from a cotton ball and dropped it in the solution; it was ready to be drawn.
Drawing up the solution proved to be more difficult than I imagined, after some repeated drawing up and pushing out (to get rid of the air bubbles) I eventually had the mixture ready in the syringe.
I grabbed a belt and tied off my left arm. Once my veins were nice and bulging, I selected one right below my elbow. I pressed the needle in until I thought it was in the vein; to be honest, I don't even know if I got it in there right. I drew the plunger back a litte and some blood came into the syringe. Then slowly I pushed the plunger in until the whole mixture had entered my body. I then stood up, swabbed the injection point with some alcohol, and capped the syringe.
I didn't feel any effects right after injecting; I thought perhaps I did it wrong. I had squirted out a bit when tryig to clear the syringe of air bubbles. Also, I thought maybe I hadn't used enough coke. I got up and walked across my room and suddenly I felt my temperature growing; "Here it comes", I though. Then, within 5 seconds, I went from normal temp to hot and sweaty. Everything started going black, and I said out loud: "Ohhh fuck." THUD! I hit the ground like a stone. My friend Lee started calling my name... no answer. He walked over to me and said my name a few more times and I awoke. I had no idea what had happened, where I was, or even who I was. I got up and sat down in my chair, I was pouring sweat and felt very dizzy. After talking to Lee for a little I realized what had happened and started to feel better. My temperature went back down to normal and the dizziness subsided. As for the effects after this, I couldn't even really feel anything... maybe a slight body buzz.
I was totally shocked and scared about the whole thing, and I'm glad I came out of it ok. I'm kind of glad things happened this way because I know I'll never try IV'ing anything again.
