The bulk of Britain's supply is imported from New Zealand where they are packaged as a "drug harm minimisation solution".
no doubt by that group with the ultraslick website mentioned in this article:

yeah we're doing harm prevention.. come to our private e party and find out! ignore the fact that you can buy these same drugs in british head shops.. it's harm prevention we're after, not money, we swear

Nah, he really is doing harm minimisation. His cousin is one of three people in NZ to have died after taking MDMA (he died from water intoxication). Matt Bowden is a very smart guy, and genuinely in to harm minimisation. His argument is that BZP is safer than MDMA, so should be promoted as a safer alternative. He's also said he's commited to researching better and safer drugs. And he's set up a harm minimisation group that goes into clubs to look after people who are in trouble.
He's also into making money for himself, but I don't have a problem with that.
I don't understand your reference to "private E party". He's not giving E to anyone. Or the fact that you can buy the drugs in British shops. So what? If the drugs are intended to minimise harm, isn't it a good thing that they're sold in British shops as well as New Zealand ones?
You also said "these idiots aren't aware that the marketing of MDMA as a party pill caused it to be banned". Well, BZP/TMFPP are marketed as party pills here, and (far from being banned) the law was amended to specifically make them legal (they were in a grey area previously). This isn't the US. Harm minimisation arguments work here. And BZP is already Schedule 1 in the US, so it's not like he's going to mess things up for you guys. Bowden himself hates the term 'party pills' anyway - it tends to be used by the media and by some retailers, but the manufacturers call them 'social tonics'.
Seriously, he's one of us. He's on our side. I replied in more detail in the thread that you linked to.
Sorry if I come across as antagonistic. I'm not trying to be. I just think you're wrong/misinformed on this particular issue.
[edit] and on re-reading the article, the brands mentioned are not the same brands that Stargate sells. So it's quite possibly another manufacturer.
