Well, Saturday night I rolled. I dosed a lot (more than usual, about ~240), and had a crazy night. Smoked a lot during the roll like normal, but afterwards, yesterday and today, both me and my friend have had no cigarette cravings whatsoever and it's like I could quit without even wanting to so easily right now, I don't get it. Every roll before it hasn't changed a thing but for some reason this time I've completely lost all desire to smoke cigarettes. Anyone ever had anything similar?

Although this sounds positive I would tread very carefully.

You have just taken an excessive dose of MDMA. Several days afterwards your brain chemistry will be out of whack. You have just flooded your brain with a huge release of serotonin. A massive one at 240mG!!

The desire to smoke is very closely related to the neurotransmitters Serotonin being one of them.

Some scientists believe drugs that boost serotonin levels would be far more effective than nicotine patches in helping smokers through the crucial three-week period after the decision to quit.

Personally I would see this as a sign you have slightly over done it and should take a long break from MDMA.

Being a long term sufferer from MDMA related issues I started to notice sugar cravings, minor sleep issues, more obsessive thoughts.

At the time none of them were a problem but it is these small changes that are often indicative signs of brain rewiring. I wish at the time I knew the cause because I wouldnt be in the mess I am in now if I had understood these symptoms.

Please be careful with high doses like this. They have a horrible habit of doing damage that you dont discover until later in life.

You seem to really know what you're talking about and all of that sounds true. After this time, it will definitely be longer than usual until I roll again. Plan on doing a bit more psychedelics than usual for a little while before going back into doing a lot of MDMA.

Also this time my comedown has been longer and MUCH more tiring (rolled 9am-3am Saturday, slept 6hrs Sunday + 14hrs Sunday night, and about 5 hours this/Monday afternoon, and still VERY tired), however the roll before this I was extremely depersonalized and this time I am fine in that regard.

As far as the cigarettes, do you think I should try to smoke normally even without the real want for one for some weird reason for my brain, or would it even be a good time to sort of taper down on intake?

Turning to psyhedelics is okay as an alternative but be aware MDMA is also a psychedelic. make sure you do your research as some psychedelics act in similiar ways to MDMA. An obvious example would be MDA.

I wouldnt go back into doing a lot of MDMA maybe just take a 150mG dose no more. If you can you want to be careful with this drug sounds like you are getting a few early warning signs.

Although I suspect the lack of cigarette desire is to do with the flood of serotonin you caused (which is not a good sign). The one thing positive from this is the desire to not smoke. I would recommend take the positive and follow the desire not to smoke. No harm will come to you by not smoking.

Try and throw in a bit of exercise as well if you can. Consider some L tryptophan or 5HTP and some vitamin supps. All this will help in your recovery. Daily water intake and Omega 3 also advised.

I would say take the positive view of this and don't try and resume your smoking habit.
The temporary disturbance in your brain chemistry has suppressed your desire for nicotine, why not profit from the situation?
