I wonder if anyone could help or offer advice with a health issue I've had. I had been taking Mirtrazopine on and off for sleeping problems and the odd spell of anxiety. I was taking very low amounts- just 5mlg,or less, as this was enough to help me sleep. However, in Feb of this year I went out clubbing with friends and took 2 Ecstacy pills. It was the first time in over a year and I made sure there was a gap of a week between stopping the Mirtrazopine and taking the Ecstacy.
The day after taking the pills (Sunday) I felt fine - just the normal comedown sensations. However, on the Wednesday I fell ill: high temperature, high anxiety, hallucinations, dizzyness, heart racing. The next day I improved slightly, but since then I have been left with a number of debilatating symptoms which don't seem to be going away: temperature, tension in the head, neck and shoulders, an edgy feeling, sensitive to light, sound, smell, twitching muscles, vertigo, and high anxiety; plus I've found reading can bring the symptoms on. I've also found that eating certain foods such as eggs, caffiene or alcohol and, to a lessor extent, anything sweet can aggravate the condition.
Iv'e had this now for four months, during which I've seen four doctors, who all seem to have very little experience of this complaint before, say I just have to wait it out, and believe my problem is down to anxiety.
I think, initially, I experienced some form of Serotonin Syndrome; however surely this can't be chronic Serotonin Syndrome? I'm worried that I may not ever get rid of it. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I really hope things turn around for you soon.. I'm sure they will, sometimes complications like this just take time to work themselves out.
