I hope most of you don't take offense to this, but as one who has traveled/lived/worked overseas quite a lot, i offer this word of caution to those who haven't traveled outside of the usa.
make sure you familiarize yourself with the countries customs and laws. the so called horror stories of there jails and court systems are usually true. and most don't tollerate drug dealers/users and they tend to be down right brutal compared our system of justice.
a passport is a must ! even if the country says americans don't need one , get it anyway !
also , get your imunization shots / supplies ahead of time. also , your body might react not so pleasent to the food. and i hope that the venue has a shit load of bottled water !
yeah i know , i 'm sounding like a "dad" , but i just don't like people to be uninformed, and have there holiday/vacation go from paradise to living hell. oh and 2 words: travelers checks ! not cash.
but from what it sounds like, it'll be a fucking blast! and if you go, make sure you get pictures !!!
oh and whatever you do , don't piss off the rastafarians . they aren't all like bob marley.

I wonder how much a group package would cost? Cuz I gotta know how much to save in order to do this. This seems like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I don't want to miss!

For a group of 4 flying from Los Angeles (there are group rates for 3 and 2 as well), the price is $1,019.00 per person (for plane tix, hotel, transportation, and food) or $899.00 (for plane tix, hotel, and transportation)... this is for 4 days and 3 nights. There are other pricing plans for if you want to stay longer.
Oh, and I'm not sure if the quoted price includes tix to the actual 3-day party -- probably not.

Where on the website were you able to find a list of DJs appearing in the lineup?
If this party is legit, it's gonna be SICK. A tad expensive, especially flying in from NYC, but we'll see.......
 
The thing about the food plans is that they don't tell you what they're gonna serve you. Shit, they might serve rice and beans for all four days!??!?!

What's with the line-up? That will probably be the deciding factor if I am to go.

Oh and Brownman is right in saying that Oakenfold, Tenaglia, PVD, Armand van Helden, Sandra Collins, Sasha, Digweed, Carl Cox, BT and more are all on the lineup already -- the website had a partial lineup listing before but I guess they took it off -- hopefully they'll put up a final lineup soon.
