Don't change it to "budget" mate, that's not what you said. You said a military larger than the rest of the world put together. Which is just wrong.

We can go take some walks and discuss this stuff, maybe at the Fruitvale Bart Station. You have to walk ten feet in front, though, OK?

I think Oakland might be a little too much, we should start small with introducing a single new culture to you, baby steps to help you understand that things are different outside your virginal cocoon.

You could enroll at my old high school. It was 20% white when I went. No, I'm not saying it taught me to love all kinds of peoples, it taught me to walk in groups. And to be gone by sunset. That was the early 90's before you were born, when the US crime rate peaked. Homicides then were over 300/yr in my town. I dreamed I'd died from getting shot more than once my freshman year. I want you to go back in time and address the fine folks of my alma mater about why you think all this other shit is so much worse than the Klan getting robed up again.

I'm really beginning to feel these certain words for you bubbling up at the end here. I feel like we just went through a long lecture on the rise of fascism and the Holocaust, and you come back with an argument about which SS uniform was cooler.
 
20% white? That's quite high. My old school is over 90% non white.

You think the Klan is something different? We've been talking about the fucking Klan this whole thread.

Yeah, they rebrand themselves with a new name and split into different sects (just like your Muslim terrorists), but to the folks at my high school, its all the Klan. I don't even know the name of the group in Charlottesville, because it doesn't matter.
 
Sorry mate my mistake, I didn't realise you classed all white racist groups as the kkk. I thought that was a specific group.

Well then, you should have no problem after all coming to Oakland or my old High School and explaining to folks how this group is quite distinct from the Klan.

I know, and after I explained the numbers, the vast incomprehensible numbers of victims by these distinct "groups", to you and mainly Fresca actually, you still want to insist that you know more than US citizens do about their own race relations or lack thereof, and history of civil war and civil rights struggles and what it feels like to walk around in that environment, and compare it to all kinds of bullshit.

To bother to just head on over to Wikipedia for a ten minute break and read up a little.

I had pictures, and links to multimedia to help you as you struggled with such concepts.

And I try to patiently get through to you that this is very serious stuff, here in the country where this went down, while I think about Lounge guidelines.

You say you don't know how many because who knows if a cop killing a Non white is racially motivated.

I haven't mentioned American civil rights never mind claimed to know more about them than US citizens.

How was this a legal demonstration given the gross history of White Supremacy.

I agree, Kegal demonstrations are gross when done publicly; that should be between you and your doctor.



Yeah, people have a right to peaceably assemble, and can't be criminally charged for what they say . . . to a point.

You don't think it's ironic that you're apologizing for the Klan and you haven't "mentioned civil rights"? Or all this and it never connected exactly who it was you were apologizing for? Yeah, that's why I sound condescending, it's because I am.

By continuing to pretend that this isn't a big deal. How many times do I have to say it.

Just read about white supremacists that were at Charlottesville protest have been doin DNA tests and finding out they not as "white" as they think they are.
Some have even been kicked out the group for being of African or Jewish ancestry.
How funny is that lol
