as many of you know i am about to open a bar, if you didn't know you do now, and i would definitly be doing shamless plugs for it soon anyways

this means i wont have the time to dedicate to Bluelight that i'd like... at least not for a while... so i think it would be good to have a new mod or two for Oz/Asia Drug Discussion...
personally i think an obvious choice would be Big Trancer... he knows his shit and is far more polite than i ever could be

i've asked him and he says he's willing to do it... so if it's alright with everyone else i'll ask jase to make it so...
i think it would be best to also have a mod from another state... one of the many reasons i chose mona was to get a sydney perspective on the board, as it can get a bit melbourne-centric... and if Big T gets the job then all the mods are from melb...
so i'd like to see someone from one of the other states to put their hand up, or if someone thinks someone else would be perfect for the job, to nominate them...
any and all suggestions are welcome... i wont be leaving as such, i'll just be hell busy, and anyway BL is my baby and i could never give it up for good... i think i just need to share it a bit more

+ what about getting someone from Brisbanium to mod. The scene fairly quiet compared with melb & syd. But not that quiet & with a mod from bris there may be more posts on whats going on around town.

I realise that there are no moderators from the Gold Coast and believe there is a decent scene here..
Would love if someone from the good old gold coast could keep us informed about what is happenin up here!

Obviously Bigtrancer get 3 thumbs up from me. Great bloke, knows his shit, hits the search button like his life depends on it, and he is really tall, which makes all the difference. He seems to be as addicted to bluelight as me, so the time issue isnt a problem.
as for interstate, personally, I think Brisgirl would do a great job. She knows her shit, but doesnt seem to be on here as much as mods should, but she gets a vote from me.
 
The duty should be given to PINGER, he is an infinite knowledge base, i think he would give a balance of view/input here. sorry melbourne but you guys need to have someone else from another state keeping you all in line *lol*

BT you have my vote, I would go with Mr Horse on this one with Brisgirl she is very informed and on the ball but alas she isn't on that well. If you feel you're up for the job, don't be shy, come forward.
However if you need a new moderator for the Oz/Asia Meetup Board, then I would be willing to do that

im from the goldcoast, and am online quite abit..
we dont have many QLD ppl on the board, but most of us QLD (brissy) ppl have meet, and we seem to have little or no-representation.

i'm sorry but a moderator should be chosen on the quality of their posts first, and location comes a distant second...
oh and having a moderator from a certain area isn't going to make this forum filled with news and coverage of that area... thats not a moderators job, its everyones job to contribute.. a moderators job is simply keeps things running smoothly by keeping an eye on everything...
if you want your area to have more of a prescence its up to you...
