Videos CEPS Video Sharing Thread

Heroin or Fast Food - what can we get faster? The heroin problem in Connecticut

I am 11 months clean. It's been hard and it's been eye opening. And since the government doesn't seem keen on solving the heroin epidemic, we made a video highlighting the problem. I don't have many answers, but I do know people need help.

Thanks in advance if you choose to watch. Be safe.

^ merged your post into the video thread. it might go better into one of the other threads dealing with the drug issues around the country, but we don't have a prohibition / drug policy mega thread so this is prolly the best fit for it.

A Time-Lapse Map of Every Nuclear Explosion Since 1945 - by Isao Hashimoto

Up to about 1998 I think. Check out 1957-58 for some truly sobering madness. With NK currently blowing some mountains to dust, it's become pretty topical again...

Homophobic joke in the very first clip. Nice.

This is the Current Events part of Bluelight. What is current about Ben Shapiro? I was tired of him three or four years ago, I think. He is not edgy anymore either. When grandmas are sharing your videos on Facebook, you might want to reevaluate yourself and come up with some new material.

I'm not conservative...but I like Shapiro on some issues, also he's probably the best debater I've ever seen.

I predict he will be a top contender for president in the future. I probably would've voted for him had he been in place of trump

This is something one of my very oldest friends has been dedicating much of his life to lately.

please watch.

comment on the video and maybe get some discussion started.

I think it is a novel idea and would like to know what you guys think, any critiques, tweaks, or just ideas.

I will ask him to maybe come here and describe it best, but the video is a good start.

Here is one he said is the finished version.

your friend is definitely commie, jah. the concept looks pretty cool; the biggest problem is coming up with funding, particularly the seed money to build a proof-of-concept settlement, and getting a starting pool of residents. i'd move there though. cities in the US especially need to be redesigned to reduce the necessity of vehicles - car ownership is one of the biggest factors in whether or not a family is stuck in poverty, so that would go a long way to reducing poverty.

the presentation is awful, but the idea is solid and the benefits would be many.

It's cleaned up a lot from where it started. He could probably cut out a lot of the zooming around.

I'm not sure he's a commie so much as he is anti-labor and pro-leisure and efficiency.

Ty for watching.

Specifically, what about the presentation needs the most work?

Also, the name of the city is "Ancapistan" as it's an anarcho-capitalism concept

imo the rhyming is unnecessary and pretty annoying, and he should find somebody else to do the voiceover, his is kind of, i dunno, just not really optimal for it. the costs and necessities for the proof of concept build are needed too, along with prospective locations. the video is kinda boring too, just randomly zooming about.
