Not par for the meme thread, but I didn't want to look like I dodge being called out, so I'll respond to a serious question rather than pasting another ha-ha for a moment...

My 'not crediting trump' was a reference to Obama stating HE killed bin Laden, when he in fact took months to even make the decision that elite military forces executed without his participation.

When did he do that?

I remedmber him saying "we got him"... not "I got him"

And for added measure, here's the full text. Bottom line, I got caught repeating a right side talking point that doesn't hold up. In the speech there is a lot of Obama saying "I...."

And so shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority ... after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground. I met repeatedly with my national security team ... I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action, and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice...Today, at my direction...

But when it comes to the actual event

A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a firefight, they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of his body.

And the speech DID go to lengths to give credit to all involved, and acknowledge those avenged, and what this meant to all Americans.


So yeah, mea culpa, and good on those who ensure people don't talk shit without the facts.

I'll be honest, I don't get 75% of that image, it's just too busy and I don't know all the references. But if there are some that are offensive, they will get removed.
