if this 2nd one confuses you; everyone on the hill is like "Where's Mitch?" because he up and went home (or to a DC motel to smoke crack with a hooker, I suppose?), while being fully paid, without giving a damn to fix the huge problem his party decided to get the country into.

Yeah, and I'd imagine that'd be Ronald Reagan. You know, the non-politician guy people knew as an actor from the Television.

The Republican Party, and the office of the presidency was damned as soon as a stupid, brain-dead moron from California said "why do we need all these Redwood trees anyways? And why don't we save some money by shutting down the public mental health facilities? Oh, and let's continue the war on drugs, fuck up massively during the Gulf War, and stiff all the veterans on the health bills we should be paying for!" and then proceeded to become and remain president of the United States for eight years, leaving our nation, our economy and our military's position in the world in shambles.

And you all still think Trump was the worst president. Yeah, sure, maybe if you exclude all time that a Millennial didn't directly observe. :\

Then again, Trump is pretty awful.
 
Trump is awful in different ways, but yes I wholeheartedly agree that Reagan was terrible and I don't know why he's widely considered to be so great. He fucked a whole lot of shit up and in many ways started or greatly contributed to keeping us on the path we're now feeling the effects of so badly.
