Defending my fellow First Responders isn't complaining there, buddy :) You and I might have a different definition of "complaining". Ive been missing you though, it been a while since we talked <3 Dunkin Donuts later at 4?

There is a difference between stating a dislike and complaining :) Valiant effort though mate. (y)

"Complaining" definition -- The expression of dissatisfaction (lack of satisfaction) or annoyance about something.

A synonym of "disgust' is ... "dislike".

I am neither dissatisfied or annoyed by his comment.

I agree with this actually, it's pretty intense bigotry to try to characterize all police as domestic abusers or violent psychopaths. Couldn't be further from the truth. Just because you hear about plenty that are doesn't mean anything like that. Most cops are trying to fulfill a necessary public service and are kind people who do good work. Police are necessary in a large society. Otherwise it would be vigilante justice and there's no way you can convince me that wouldn't be an absolute disaster.

No one said anything about first responders, who are actual heroes and deserve a lot more respect than they get

Cops are the kind of people that enforces the status quo. That's the main reason why I (and anarchists in general) don't like them. Also there's other reasons like the fact that a lot of cops are racist, policing itself follows racist tactics, 40% of cops are domestic abusers, etc. But again, that's not the main problem. Btw cops are a relatively new institution, that's not even 300 years old. I wonder how the people in the centuries before that could survive without an institution of people enforcing state violence? Really makes you think, huh?
