The panorama spawls across my vision,
Bringing tides of color to my feet,
Seeming to derive some sort of decision,
From the floundering predisposition,
Of my brain.

I like the way your eyelashes beat like hollow wings,
Against my skin
In such a way
I think of other things,
Circulating around the tendencies of a butterfly,
The cloudy pupils of my eyes,
Drift about your face,
And up towards the skies.

I wonder how you feel,
When the wind ripples against your skin,
When the sun warms the places,
Where the cold has been.

An afternoon of flowers paints itself into your face,
Your soft complexion melting through the graceful canvas,
Of the earth.

This situations rather simple,
Yet transcribes itself complex,
It leaves me quite unsure,
And more or less perplexed.

The sun continues burning,
And the winds persist in churning,
The overwhelming sensations,
Render me asleep as the world keeps on turning.

You have a very imagistic style...

This stanza is amazing:

I like the way your eyelashes beat like hollow wings,
Against my skin
In such a way
I think of other things,
Circulating around the tendencies of a butterfly,
The cloudy pupils of my eyes,
Drift about your face,
And up towards the skies.

And I think many a great poet would've killed for a line such as this:

An afternoon of flowers paints itself into your face,

Makes me daydream of spring (while here in the depths of near-winter Melbourne)
