Stimulants Can't seem to find the answer as to why speed/meth make me sick - anyone?

so I have been using for 17 years (can't believe it's been that long). My frequency varies from the vary occassional to daily for periods of time, the amount I use varies from teeny tiny 'wasn't worth it' to 'why did I use that all at one', and even how I have it changes (snorting/smoking/drinking/IV) but the one thing that never seems to change is my need to be sick. Anywhere from 1-8 hours later I start to throw up. Sometimes for short periods and more recently for hours. The amount or way doesn't seem to be a factor as last week I snorted 1 point and threw up for something like 12 hours and yet other times I've had half weight but only been sick for short while. I know the obvious is for me to stop (which is my goal) but I was wondering if anyone else experiences this or can shed some light on why? tia :\

I used amphetamines for about three and a half years from occasional to daily, the same as you described and the last few months of usage I would do it then within 3-4 hours of being high I'd get lightheaded and fall down throwing up. It happened every last few times I tweaked no matter if my tolerance was high, low or if I used less or more. I'm now almost 2 months without any stimulants except caffeine. I'd say take a long break.

Interesting. Do you regularly eat and stay hydrated? I had a similar experience and found out I was very deficient in magnesium, vitamin D, and B vitamins. I took a long break, ate better, took supplements, and the nausea stopped occuring. Though I never used as much or as often again after that.

Poor diet, dehydration, possible over-exertion, increased cardiac output and a flood of SE and DA seems like a recipe for nausea to me. Another thing being; smoking stimulants induces a cough reflex, in my experience. Opiates also do the same initially, though such local irritation is rapidly suppressed, hence their widespread use as antitussives, amongst others. IMO, it is the membranous irritation leading to attempted expulsion via coughing which ultimately brings about the emesis.
Obviously this applies to vapourised chemicals mainly, though a similar local effect is seen in insufflation.
The nausea post-ingestion is likely a combination of the drug irritating the lining of the stomach and the potential pH alteration. This is easily mitigated by lining one's system with a solid meal and a vast amount of fluids before, during and after ingestion. If this is insufficient, various OTC anti-emetics are available, but please check the ingredients and triple check for interactions - Diphenhydramine in particular is notorious for inducing, or exacerbating the cardiac stress induced by a potent psychostimulant.

EDIT: Some people do appear predisposed to emesis on some drugs - I know many people whom cannot take MD*A without a 'purge' experience seen as an expected effect. If you fall under this category, I'm afraid my help is limited - Alcohol and exceptional Opioid doses are all that have me praying to the 'ceramic deity'.
