COPD is a major concern of mine and vapourisers while not containing smoke are very hot nd this heat could lead to emphysema.

could cannabis nebulizers be feasible? what say you

This doesn't answer your question any, but I've never heard of smoking cannabis alone causing COPD. It certainly has other negative effects on your lungs (chronic bronchitis anyone?) but nothing as serious as chronic tobacco users end up with. Here's some reading on the pulmonary effects of cannabis smoking if you're interested:

Effects of smoking cannabis on lung function.

Abstract
Although cannabis (or marijuana) is the world's most widely-used illicit drug, there has been surprisingly little research into its effects on respiratory health. Part of the problem is the inherent difficulty of studying the long-term effects of an illegal habit. It has often been assumed that smoking cannabis will have similar long-term effects to smoking tobacco. Several recent observational studies suggest that this is not the case and that cannabis has quite different effects on the lung function. There are consistent findings that smoking cannabis is associated with large airway inflammation, symptoms of bronchitis, increased airway resistance and lung hyperinflation. The evidence that smoking cannabis leads to features of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, such as airflow obstruction and emphysema is not convincing. However, there are numerous case reports of bullous emphysema among cannabis smokers. These findings have not been confirmed in systematic analytical studies and probably represent uncommon adverse effects in very heavy cannabis smokers. There is now additional controversial evidence that cannabis is at least an occasional cause of respiratory malignancies, but again the evidence is inconclusive.

Considering the popularity of e cigarettes I think its a pretty feasible option.

Doing a quick google search indicated that this is a popular topic and any smoke free way of using cannabis is a topic of interest for me.

Hmmm would be very hard, You would need a concentrate to be soluble in an aqueous solution, however the main problem is most nebulizers function on mg and mcg dosing, nearly impossible unless you invent something yourself, plus I believe nebulizers still us heat to steam the solution.

Edibles or vape into a bag and let it cool to room temp takes like two minutes...

I thought that cannabis vaporisers were essentially the same as nebulisers. The temperature of the "vapor" (really an aerosol) from a vaporiser is much lower than that of a cigarette or pipe, especially given a few seconds to cool in a bag, or piped over ice in a bong.

I could be wrong however generally speaking I believe nebulizers maintain a temperature below 130 degrees Fahrenheit, when traditional cannabis vaporizers standardly operate in between 250-375 degrees Fahrenheit. A neb just needs to generate steam from a simple aqueous solution where a vaporizer needs to vaporizer plant matter.

Regardless it would take a very talented scientist to do this correctly.

Edibles is the answer if this is what you fear. Or not smoking at all.

There is no reason you couldn't dissolve THC in a volatile solvent (e.g. pentane) and deliver it as a mist, it's just not practical for most people.

Makes sense, shit I have a neb from the throwback I may just try this myself one day.

Not practical or realistic sounds about right, you would need to make your own plastic cartridges it would be one hell of a project.

There are a bunch of factors here but fun experiment

I have a nebulizer for an Albuterol sulfate mixture of saline that I use as needed for asthma attacks. The nebulizer has no heating elements whatsoever. It sends the liquid through an incredibly small tube while bubbling it below. This creates an incredibly fine mist that makes it perfect for inhaling.

I've never put anything else in there before (now that I think about it, I'm wondering if I could put Amphetamine that's been dissolved in water in there and see if it would work) but I don't see why nothing else wouldn't work.

Why not prep a solution of BHO+PG+VG (with a small amount of ethanol added to the BHO if necessary for solubility)? The vapor is never "hot".

ebola

So I just tried the amphetamine in the nebulizer. Very unexpected. It gave me a head rush that made my forehead tingle a ton.

I only wish I could get more into one breath...

Be careful, man.

ebola

I imagine that this is as close to a meth rush as I will ever get. It's nice, but it takes too long to administer enough to be satisfied. Although this makes me think of youtube video I watched a long time ago about a woman who started snorting Adderall, and thought it was nice.

She moved up to plugging, then started taking doses over 200 milligrams a day and after a while she couldnt afford the pharmaceutical speed so she stopped using Adderall. Eventually she just started smoking meth...
