cannabinoids & cell death

I really would like to see some more info on this said test... Just to have a better guess. Any idea who produces it (company?) ?

I did an internet search for it and I found something that made sense in relation to what that guy said as a "DNA test for marijuana": When people are faking out UA tests they either try to clean their system with a product or create an artificial urine solution from a product: a strand of hair however would tell you that marijuana had been consumed sometime during the lifespan of that length of hair (but not if it was currently in your system) and it could be confirmed as yours by DNA (sites say hair DNA testing offerings the confirmation process by DNA in relation to the content of marijuana in the hair) that's most likely what the guy meant. I'm just being stupid, sorry.
 
Thing is, you need the follicle to be attached to the hair for DNA identification purposes, otherwise there's no way of proving who it came from.

As for the hair/drug testing thing, wouldn't washing your hair with isopropanol bugger that test as it would dissolve out any drug residues
 
And surely, staining the cells with propidium would cause a fair bit of squirrely business in the ol' double helix, not sure how nasty it is in relation to ethidium bromide, but I sure doubt its pleasant, if you happen to be a neuron.

apparently the answer is no as the drug metabolites are not on the outer surface of the hair rather they are tightly bound inside, GC-MS using SIM detects truly miniscule quantities. hair bleaching seems more likely to work. that or waxing all over :-)
hippies have long hair to make it easier for the drug testers.
