I'm guessing that it just frees end stage cancer patients from having to worry about prosecution if they want to self administrator psilocybin as an experimental treatment method for end of life situations.

Kind of ridiculous that you have to be dying in order to be granted the right to ingest soul healing medicines and even then you have to fight the DEA all the way to the grave... SMH
