Can Soma reduce the chance of experiencing a seizure while on Tramadol?

I suppose i may get some clonazepam then. I just hope it doesnt stay in my system too long. If anyone has any info on this, or any tips please lemme know

clonazepam has a long half life, christ, wikipedia can answer that for you.

alprazolam is a better choice if you're worried about detection.

^ alprazolam is not as effective for treating seizures, and we all know clonazepam is way better than alprazolam ---- buuuuuuut

Ya Soma's give me seizures sometimes. I call it the "soma shuffle" .... and I've heard in some paradoxical way it can cause seizures.

my vote goes for clonazepam, and doctors are not alarmed if you ask for it; xanax has a worse reputation.

my clonazepam is prescribed for neck and back tension. and it does a suprisingly good job. hell I don't even abuse it

well soma is metabolized into meprobamate which does have anticonvulsant properties. it suppresses generalized seizures and reduces seizure score. its been used to treat epilepsy too. although it too can cause seizures sometimes like was mentioned above.
another good thing about taking soma with tramadol is that it induces the enzymes that turn tramadol into o-desmethyltramadol.
its a combination that worked good for me in the past, I usually tried not to go much higher than 500-550mg of tramadol in one dose and tried not to go too overboard with the somas.
Felbamate and meprobamate: a comparison of their anticonvulsant properties

HH Frey, I Bartels - Epilepsy research, 1997 - Elsevier
The anticonvulsant effect of felbamate and meprobamate were compared in a series of models
for seizure activity and regarding their neurotoxic action. In the MES test, felbamate was active
below neurotoxic doses. Meprobamate had an ED 50 in the range of neurotoxic doses. ...

Meprobamate isn't relevant if you're taking Carisoprodol.

Actually, it's not relevant at all. If you're going to quote such small bits, you should at least cut out the parts that undermine the claim

Meprobamate had an ED 50 in the range of neurotoxic doses.

I wouldn't suggest taking a neurotoxic dose of a drug to avoid a seizure.

Besides, if you're taking soma, meprobamate isn't relevant. You're taking carisoprodol. Big deal what it's metabolised to. Carisoprodol causes seizures. Plain and simple. Obviously the metabolites don't prevent seizures if the parent drug is causing them.

And regardless, don't take meprobamate to protect against seizures.
