I've seen a lot of people write about how after they did ecstasy they now have "brain farts" where you'll be thinking of something and all of a sudden you'll be like.. wait wtf was just going on?

I THINK... it has little to do with the alleged damage of ecstasy to your brain, but the stress of the drug on your body.

It's really kind of a lot to explain how the stress negatively affects your body, which in turn affects your mind... but I'm just gonna say my experience.
I had had a problem with brain farts and being super forgetful constantly. I tried different things, vitamins, went to the doctor.. I seriously thought I had some kind of brain damage.

Long story short I bought some probiotics.. the "good bacteria" that lives in yogurt and is living in your intestines right now. Almost immediately after taking it, I noticed a complete change in my thinking.. I actually thought it was going to affect me negatively like all the other vitamins and supplements I had tried
I've been taking it for a while now and I seriously never have any brain farts ever and my thinking is much more clear it really is awesome. The good bacteria help repopulate your intestines to help your get the most out of your food.. PLUS they help kill the negative bad bacteria which can leave you feeling "out of it" and spacey and tired.

So yeah.. if you're feeling like spacey or have those brain farts, try looking at your foods and consider getting a probiotic.. Or at least just buy some plain yogurt, cuz the probiotic can be expensive... make sure it's plain though because that is the kind that has lots of friendly bacteria.

yeah I'm pretty sure you can find them there.
I bought mine at a store called henry's.. I think it may only be in california though. You might be able to buy them at your regular grocery store, but they like to sell them way overpriced.

I bought 60 capsules with 12 billion units of bacteria in each capsule for I think 18 bucks. But I don't need that much every day, I usually only use half of one each day. So it lasts a while.

No.. lol it's not placebo. I told you before that I was expecting a negative response, and I was actually had decided to get it because I heard it was good for candida.. which I thought I had, but that's really a whole other story.
There's a reason I said that I didn't want to explain how the body works.. but I guess I'll have to.
The good bacteria in your intestines is what helps you absorb nutrients. If you are lacking that good bacteria, you can't get the adequate nutrients from your food, which means your body and brain aren't getting the energy that would normally have gotten..

It's really sad actually that you can say something with such certainty, "EVERYTHING to do with your brain." when you clearly no nothing about how the body works. Your brain is affected, by your ability to absorb food. If you aren't absorbing your food correctly, your whole body AND MIND are affected.

Go research it if you don't believe me.

Never been better since Ive been snackin on these for the past few hours

Probiotics are essential for huamns - that is a given. I don't think that what you were experiencing was "palcebo", but I hardly can take your sensationalized claims seriously. Whenever you use the word "immediately" to describe a feeling you get from taking a supp - it is almost always just an exaggerated claim.

Probiotics ARE essential and beneficial, but there is no way that you felt the effects immediately. Capsule'd probiotics are one of the WORST ways to replenish the friendly bacteria in your stomach. 12 billion bacterias sure, at the time of manufacture. With all the processing stages and the time between manufacture and consumption, I guarantee 90% of those bacteria are dead. You are eating dead bacteria, won't do you any good.

Those bacteria supps are the wanna-be easy way out. Yogurt is better. Your BEST bet is to STOP eating things that are killing your probiotics rather than trying to re-fueling the bacteria you are eating daily. Keep your stomach environment healthy by reducing meat, alcohol, and dairy intakes. It is much more effective, and healthier for you in the long run, to do this, rather than to eat like shit and depend on sensationalized supplements to make you better. Its the same as never exercising and taking protein supplements daily thinking it will make you do better.

Probiotics are essential for digestion and nutrient absorption. But remember, FIBER and ENZYMES are just as essential for your digestive health. Fresh fruits and veggies are your ultimate source of fiber and enzymes. Couple that with yogurt, and you'll have a kick-ass stomach environment.

My father has been in the health supplement business for 10+ years and one of his most successful line of products are probiotics. In fact I helped him research for the manufacture of couple of his probiotic items (I am a Chem major). That being said, you're much better eating yogurt along with fruits and veggies rather than consuming those supposed "billions" of bacteria a day.

Well I'm just sayin my experience, you don't HAVE TO believe me. For me.. it helped a lot. And I am being totally honest when I say that I felt it within 15 or so minutes after taking it.

And fyi I don't eat dairy. Well I eat a little bit of yogurt occasionally, but even then, it doesn't agree with me. Probably if I was healthy feeling fine, I would maybe eat yogurt, and not need the supplement, but right now, I can't.
But also I've heard that the probiotic supplements choose certain types of good bacteria that help the most at fighting the bad bacteria and help replenish good bacteria that's already in the gut. So even though plain yogurt has good bacteria in it, dairy doesn't agree with me. But like I said in my first post, that you should try and get the plain yogurt at least.

I eat lots of vegetables, but I still don't eat much fruits right now because it causes me to feel worse. I have some type of leaky gut or something like that.

I eat meat occasionally, I've cut out gluten a long time ago, which has probably helped the most, besides cutting out simple sugars.

Maybe I responded really well because I had already been eating really well.. and my body really needed more good bacteria, I don't know. But I think for many people that are experiences problems that they think have to do with "brain damage" it most likely isn't brain damage at all and has more to do with their body and digestion.
