Well, I'm going to grab the baton and start this one.

A new episode for a whole new bluelighter (well, at least 99% new, and may contain trace elements of other stuff). SupaDiscoBreaka, this is YOUR life.

I can remember (not too clearly) the first time I met this fine chap. I was somewhat 'disadvantaged' by gravity and along strode a shiny sparkling young man with spiked hair and glasses. He crouched down in front of me, and then proceeded to say the words which wrecked me for the next 20 minutes.

"Hi plaz, I'd been looking forward to meeting you, but you're not really you at the moment are you?"*

* May not be exact wording, as observing subject was severely intoxicated at the time.

My uncomprehending glazed eyes must have said all that needed to be said. And for a first meeting, it created what one might term an 'impression' of this zany gentleman, that's been only built on over the following years.

I could go on, but I think I'll leave the microphone and let someone else tell us all the next amusing anecdote. Rest assured, there's a LOT, this man seems to spawn hilarious stories and situations like gremlins in a swimming pool.

Cheers SDB!

-plaz out-

Well, SDB. Met him at Gatecrasher 2001, was a tad messy, sat and chatted about nothing in particular while I sat my head through a security fence...

Haven't spent near as much time together as I would have liked, as every time we've hung out, I've had more than an exceptional time. :)

I'm going through and deleting all these stupidly off topic posts... really people are you all such asses that you can't get into the spirit of the thread, or maybe you just all had way too big a night last night.

Play nice people

and i'm deleting the posts below me.

you people should know by now you have a problem with a mod and what they do you handle it via email or pm.

SDB...

Sadly only had the pleasure once (but that's only the beginning). Had a ball with the man at Two Tribes this year, glad I got to spend a little bit of quality time (although you can never have enough SDB). A great chap, a barrel of laughs, a quirky attitude to life, in a word...SUPA!

Peetron = Rox.

Lemme buy you a beer champ!

SupaDiscoBreaka:

  • Brought us HOT SLUTS!*
  • Is the Pretender (Or is he?)
  • Loves to party
  • Always makes me smile :)

Keep on-a rockin!

<Pretender theme here>

*RobertRollie may have contributed in a _small_ way *cough*

Christ. I've met the man in terrible conditions, sloshed off my head at TT - who woulda thunk he'd make the trip down from Newie?
If i only was straight enough to converse about logical stuff, then Im sure id be happier.
A 5 star sense of humor, coupled with a temperance somewhat similar to mine equals a champion.
Keep it up good buddy.

I cannae wait for our next encounter.

(no, i HAVENT met christ, i met sdb! get it right!)

i could say so much....

but i'd have to censor it all. ;)

love your work bro. :D

and all that time i thought you'd kidnapped my melways and taken it north. :P

First met the guy wearing the strange pants at Pharmacy 7, a long, long time ago. Probably one of the first Bluelighters I met and one of the friendliest. Had the pleasure of chatting to him and Schizo at TT a few months back... umm... a very messy experience... the DiscoBreaker was wearing a HOT SLUTS t-shirt and we were surrounded by them at the time. It was quite amusing.

I have very faint memories of SDB somewhere in Canberra... It somehow involved Afgahani sand, tofu, grit and for some reason, zombies.

If that doesn't make him a compelling person, well, I just don't know what does.

I remember SDB chatting to me and saying "I HAVE TO MEET YOU - you are the acid queen! We must trip together!"

A year and a half later and we still haven't got the chance :\ One day soon tho :)

I remember (vaguely) SDB at Utopia (sept 29 2001) and at many many events since.

I remember many a recovery with decent chats and many a night of debauchery. "We'll be right, the moon is coming over us" ;)

Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra and Brisbane the man sure knows how to find us :)

SDB is my favourite bath robe man and i adore him to death. He should move up to Brizzy and play with us kids more often.

Brizzy eh? *cough*

You know where you're wanted SDB ;) Get yo ass down here.

Well SDB

hehehheehhehehehe YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE RANDOM and that's what makes you special!!

Hehehe met him first time at one of the Dendy Altitudes....wearing those CRAZY orangey/pinkey pants that he wears, and I walked up to him and EvilCalvin and asked them both a question to which they just stared blankly at me and made weird noises.

Hehehehehehehehe what a champion.

/me settles down with a bottle of Boags to watch the ensuing tug-o-war for the man of the robe... ;)

I believe it was in Canberra the first time i met the man. There was Acid, and a certain lack of comprehension circling above me... i believe mention of the finest afghani sand was mentioned, and a promise of better meetings to come...

I was also given one of the best hugs of my life by him at IM earlier this year, whist he was wearing his PEET pants.

Ya gotta love him.

I'm coming to Newy in the holidays dude - you better have space for me. =D

Respect to tha man!

Well, where to start?

First met the guy at Pharmacy 6 last year and things just went from there, spoke to him on irc and then caught up with him in CBR for Twisted Republic. That was where we really hit it off and that weekend will remain in my memory until long after I'm senile and am unable to dress myself hehe. Have seen him several times since then on his various adventures down to Melb, and it's always been a blast :)

The guy is an absolute champion, there's no question about it. Wherever he goes, fun and mayhem is close behind, and he's always been an ear to me whenever I've needed one.

I love this guy like a brother, can't wait to see you again soon chief :)

The first time i met sdb was at a doof...i was walking along and this tall lad with bright orange hair got up and said "your doofqueen aren't you?" and i said "how did you know?" and he said "the red dreads"

hahahaha

or was that belisimo that said that?

memories are kinda melting together...that cant't be good :P lol

The one time I met SDB, at Two Tribes this year, he was wearing his home made "HOT SLUTS" t - shirt. He introduced himself, I looked at his t - shirt and without even thinking, my first words were "YOU SLEASY MOFO!" (It was the "HOT SLUTS" tee that made me say it.) Then he hugged me for just a bit too long, and I got a little worried he was trying to feel me up.:o Anyhow, SDB is one funny mofo, and actually not very sleasy at all. I hope our paths cross again some time.=D

hahaha thats^ pretty funny babydoc!

sooo, SDB...SDB...SDB...care for bam?

I used to see this chap about town and I unsuspectingly passed him off as just another Newcastle dickhead.
One of our first meetings, which was BLers in the park, the only thing i said to him was "you're crazy", I was right about that.
It has been about a year since then and he is now one of my favourites. :)

And SDB, I have to say you are very good at getting mashed with me. =D

Met This noodle back at Transmission last year at the meet up.
It was so cool just to chat with this bloke who was so easy goin. Personality, Mad sense of humour, creativity, attitude - He had it all. I mean dude, he makes his own clothes - legend.
But the ice was really broken when all of a sudden SDB askes smoothly, "Gimmie a hug" - Fuckin legend.
No we wasnt off chops, just a really cool dude.He makes you think.Never a dull thing comes from his mind and soul.

on the bad side, Ive never been able to hook up wit him since then.A few small brushes here an there but meh. :\

SupaDiscoBreaka - Top bloke

Go far and go hard.

-Peace
