ninja, if I'm standing below the cross, how in the world could you imply that I am looking down on Christianity?
As for looking up/down, I'll leave it to the people to interpret as they will. To me, the meaning of the composition in front of me as I stood there was "Looking down". You could interpret it as the people on that landing looking down, as God looking down, as religion looking down, etc., but most certainly not as me looking down on anything.
edit: then again, you could interpret it as anything, so I guess that first line shouldn't be there, eh? I just gave myself a touché on your behalf, ninja. LOL
