I'm a girl firstly Byron refers to the Byron Bay area where I grew up.

Secondly thanks, I guess! Shot was taken from Poets Cafe in Montville - overlooking the sunshine coast. My ex boyfriend and I were sitting right near the window eating lunch overlooking that view.

I went with Raving Loony. Was a tough call though, I really liked DG's and BA's.

For me it was a toss-up between DG, L2R and Loony's. I went with DG, because it just jumped out at me. Lots of great land- and cityscapes this round, and I got a chuckle out of QE's entry. Great round!

i went with BA's since it captured the theme the best (as alasdair previously pointed out) but damien's shot was the best. i love L.A., even though i hate it sometimes

where was that shot taken, btw? i went clubbing in hollywood last night and i couldn't find any place that would be that high up to get a great shot like that.

katmeow got my vote. maybe because it's kind of nostalgic. reminds me of sunday morning, pre-brunch, in the mission, remnants from the night before, sipping cubano espressos from the video store and blazing, then heading down the street to levende or foreign cinema for brunch... favorite day - ever.

(and although it might be in bad form to say why something did *not* warrent a vote, I'm gonna be rude and comment that I did not vote for BA's for the simple reason that I am filled with hate, venom and rage at the park administration in which I believe the pic was taken )
